Image copyright problem with Image:JG_1967.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:JG_1967.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.

Redlinks in Judy Garland article
I reverted your edit just now. The use of redlinks to signify nonexistent articles is an important part of how Wikipedia functions. These are signals that articles are missing and need to be created. There is a project underway to create film articles and it is using redlinks as a tool to indicate films by major performers that have yet to be written up. PS. I apologize for getting your user name wrong in the edit summary -- I hit the wrong key and typed LDM instead of LBM. No offense intended. 23skidoo 00:46, 13 March 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:S Shabalala 2005.jpg
This media may be deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading Image:S Shabalala 2005.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. feydey 00:50, 21 March 2006 (UTC)

LBM Tour Dates
Hi, I just wanted to get your attention over at the LBM talk page because there is some discussion as to your posting of tour dates. A couple of us feel that Wikipedia is not the appropriate place to post such events, as it borders on both news (which Wikipedia is not) and advertisement (which Wikipedia is not). However, as I have yet to find clear-cut guidelines against the posting of tour dates, I didn't want to delete it all without your input, or at least without letting you know ahead of time. Thanks, Romarin 12:57, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
MGM Page
I'm sorry, you see, I'm at me grandparent's house for the weekends.
1956 MGM Lion
LBM, you did it man! That's the one I was talking about! Hey, can you e-mail the video to me? Here's my e-mail address. shadeedkelly@yahoo.com
1957 MGM Lion
Actually LBM buddy, I've seen the 1957 logo on a 1983 film on Turner South with the lion drunk! I mean he was drunk! Then they moved the camera to like the side of him with 2 guys behind him. I can't believe they did that to him! I think the movie was Get Crazy - King Shadeed 19:04, 9 May 2006
- Yep, he was drunk, but the lion in that movie didn't say MGM/UA Entertainment Co. It only said Metro Goldwyn Mayer. That logo was also used for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Television from 1970-1980 and with "TELEVISION" from 1980-1983. King Shadeed 12:03, 10 May 2006
Please note that any image published after 1923 is not public domain and should be tagged with {{promo}}. Regards Arniep 16:59, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
PBS idents
I saw you deleted the PBS Kids Sprout section of the PBS idents article. Please note that it is needed in case someone has info to put into the section regarding the Sprout idents. Georgia guy 00:00, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- Now I put the basic piece of info; feel free to include more info if you can. Georgia guy 00:06, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
