Red Diamond Dogs moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Red Diamond Dogs, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello Kyugumi.

I have read your message and please allow me to explain. Yes, I am trying to write more detailed information for artists from Japanese management company LDH, and I am new here. But I have not deleted any correct information as you have stated. I have just rewritten them to suit them into a longer paragraph. In fact, I used the original references for those information, unless some referances seems to be outdated and I could not open the webpage. Every information I wrote came with a reference, but anyway I would try to make those references more clear. As for mistakes in form, grammar and spelling, I would certainly proofread my edit more carefully to avoid this kind of mistake in the future.

Sorry for any trouble I might have brought.

[Besides, I think there should be a comma before the "which“ in this sentence.[he formed the dance team JAZZ DRUG in 2003 "," which consisted of two male members (Naoto and Nabe) and one female member (Maiko), and started to become active in a wide range of events. Or you will indicate that there is another 'JAZZ DRUG' which are not consisted of two male members (Naoto and Nabe) and one female member (Maiko)]. This may be true, but I don't think most people would know another 'JAZZ DRUG' and require us to caritify it here.

SCSchubert (talk) 13:48, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Another Note: I think it's essential to caritify the difference between vocalists and performers of LDH groups for people not familiar with them, So I would be specifically state that A performer is a performer(dancer), or some people would mistake him as singer, which is a mistake I really hated to see. SCSchubert (talk) 13:58, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Kyugium, Thanks for your warmly reply. Since we last talked, I have realized my mistake regarding sources and grammar, so I have been double-checking and trying to fix those problems. There was a sure problem with LDH related websites, especially the “exile mobile website”, and I have fixed most of the links to make them link to the correct website. There might still be problems, so I was still trying to check every link. At the same time, I am fixing those spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as problems with forms. But anyway, I am confused that I did not get any notice about the deletion of those edits, so I guess I would just do what you have suggested and refrain from adding new information.

By the way, I have also started to add a title to all your edits and changes of articles more, since I used to forget to do so. I would certainly do so in the future.

On the other hand, I agree with you that it might be enough to write what role the person has in the first sentence and then add which group(s) they are a member of, I am just a bit annoyed when many English media continued to call Naoki Kobayashi a singer( He has been getting more interview with English media recently), so I think emphasizing that he is a dancer might be helpful if it is that different for those English media to see the difference. Meanwhile, I also agree with your opinion of years or dates written into the introduction might get people bored, but it seems common to do so on Wikipedia. The introdution parts of pages of Justin Timberlerk, Justin Bieber seems to be full of dates. I just got a little confused here.

Regarding the categorization of activities of Naoto and Naoki, I am doing so because I found it difficult to separate their activity as members of different groups, or you will end up in saying “as Exile’s member” and “as Sandaime J Soul Brothers’ member” again and again. So I guess I can just list activities of different groups listing in different categories, which would solve the problem. If you look at the page of Gackt (I have used his page as a reference), you can see that his career is classified in music, acting, and business, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a similar arrangement. If it really gets people confusing in another way, I am happy to rearrange them all over again in chronological order.

As for superfluous information, I can only imagine that I am sometimes to obsess with small facts, but I have seen these kinds of things being written in pages of other artists. I guess I would just try to see what gets deleted and refrain from writing that information in the future.

I am terribly sorry that my carelessness has caused you so much trouble. I have been self-exanimating and I would try not to make so much mistake in the future. Thanks for your time and patience in talking to me and helping to correct my mistakes.

SCSchubert (talk) 14:13, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Another note: I have looked at the page of Justin Bieber carefully, and I finally understood how to correctly mark films, singles, albums and tours. They seems to be a bit different from User:Tony1/Beginners' guide to the Manual of Style. If you would allows me, I would like to review everything I have post and mark those things correctly.

Hello Kyugium, I can't express my gratitude enough for you. Thank you for your replies and your efforts to communicate with administrators to check for standards. Your response is detialed and operational, and I am really grateful for that.I think I would be able to revise all those articles according to your adivse, so that they would be more acceptable to the those policies and rules of Wikipedia. As for information about groups, I agree with you that adding those information about the group to the aticle of the group itself would be more elegant and friendly for a reader who only intrested in the person himself. I would definele rearrange those information and only left the necessary and spefic information about one member of a group in his page. I have to thank you again for your patience in helpping a green hand like me, and I would definitely strive to improve myself to become a better editor.

About your recent edits of Sandaime J Soul Brothers

[edit]

Hi, I couldn't help but notice you have made a large number of edits on the Sandaime J Soul Brothers article. While it is appreciated to have an active user add information, I had to reduce the amount of info you added the last time.

The 'History' tab is meant to serve as a timeline of the activities and events surrounding the group. You went deep in detail about the themes and production aspects of the last single 'Fuyuzora/White Wings. Such shenaningans are not needed in the main article, if anything I strongly suggest you make a separate page for the single including a synopsis and music video section to include the information you wrote.

Also, please make sure you use space between paragrahps as the last edit you made didn't include many and the article became too convoluted by the end of the history section. Please be advised that the article for Sandaime J Soul Brothers has been nominated for a Good Article promotion, as such it is of utmost importance to maintain a good level of editing on it. Please feel free to contact me regarding any doubts you may have, thank you.

Hello Kyugium

Sorry to bother you and I hope this message finds you well! Thanks again for your effort to write and edit so many pages about LDH's artists! It might be awkward for me to say, but I have been looking at the page of Ryuji Imaichi, and you have been so fantastic as to add so much detailed information to it. But I am not so sure about a sentence you wrote: "In the past, Imaichi has expressed on several occasions how Exile's Takahiro was a major influence in his career and path to becoming a vocalist." I could not find any reference to it, and as far as I know, Imaichi has said several times time that ATSUSHI has influenced him in many ways, and it was Hiroomi Tosaka that has expressed how Takahiro has influences him. Since the influnce of takahiro to Imaichi is new to me, could you please find me any references?

Hello Kyugium Happy Holiday! I hope you have enjoyed your vacation and will continue to enjoy it. Sorry to bother you during your holiday too. I must have confused myself when I check the editing history, and have mistaken you to be the writer. I am really sorry about that. Anyway, I have also checked with serval Ryuji's fans, all of them think this information is nonsense, so I think this information are very likely to be untrue and decided to delete it. And Thank you for your effort to correct a few grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and wording issues to make those articles reader-friendly. I can not express my gratidute to you. Best Wishes! SCSchubert (talk) 15:48, 10 January 2020 (UTC)

Dear Kyugium Thanks for your sincere suggestion!I found both suggestion useful and I would definetely worked on them in the future. As for plan for the future, I would try to create more sperate pages for details of works of J Soul Brothers membet,to shorten the main artitle and make them more precise,as you have suggested. Thanks again for your very kind suggestion. SCSchubert (talk) 22:07, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Kyugium, Again, thanks so much for your suggestion! And I would definitely read the article clearfully to try to improve my writing. I am just exicted to find that we share the same ambition. I think I would start by writing about the High & Low franchise. It's juat dispointing for a franchise that earn so much in japan have so little information about them on english wikipedia. I can't hardly express my gratidute to you for your kindness and help, so I would just say thank you again. Best Wishes, SCSchubert (talk) 00:13, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
