Fields Medal page

Hello There,Despite the fact that ongoing discussion about the table format of fields medalists is really reaching to a comprehensive consensus, User seul1978 is doing vandalism to the page before participating in the discussion.I invited him/her to join the discussion, but he/she refuses to do so,and continues his/her act of vandalism. If you took a single dollar for your treachery you will face consequences.

If you are a paid troll you will receive the same fate as every other when we hunt down your masters. You deleted a page for a best selling author, that puts you in the first tier we will investigate.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.162.4.7 (talkcontribs) 13:00, 24 August 2014‎

If one of my deletion was in error, I do not mind undoing it. What page are you talking about? —Kusma (t·c) 14:00, 24 August 2014 (UTC)

In October 2012 you contributed to the discussion that led to Wikipedia Reference Desk becoming a redirect to Wikipedia:Reference Desk (Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2012 October 8#Wikipedia Reference Desk). Peggy McDowell Curlin Page

To whom it may concern:

I have recently noticed that you have deleted my grandmother's wikipedia page: under the name of Peggy McDowell Curlin. I am offended because she has a legacy that should be heard and studied for future generations. If possible, I wish to figure out how to get her page back. Please feel free to contact me at (email address removed)

Thank you for your time

Emma Artley — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.246.229.79 (talk) 01:23, 30 October 2014 (UTC)

The page was not deleted out of any disrespect for you grandmother or her legacy. It was deleted because it was mostly a verbatim copy of her Washington Post obituary, violating the Washington Post's copyright. I have put in a request for an article to be created. (You shouldn't do so yourself, see WP:COISELF). Hope that helps (or at least explains what I did), —Kusma (t·c) 08:59, 30 October 2014 (UTC)

Odd redirects & Pakistani University pages

Hi Kusma,
I came across a message about "Mixed case redirects" you left on the talkpage of Umarkhaldoon (talk · contribs). I was wondering if you can see any similarities with the editing habits of currently indeffed Taimurijaz97 (talk · contribs) (TJ97)? They also have a habit of creating unnecessary and odd redirect pages. Usually they were adding needless disambiguation by adding the location to the Uni's name.

TJ97 first came to attention with a mass of unnecessary and non-MOS page moves of Pakistani University pages, then creating unreferenced Pak. uni. pages, copy/paste moves and copying the content of one uni. page to create multiple unreferenced 'new pages', without making all the necessary changes. Total lack of edit summaries too, but that's rather common, unfortunately!
More info/discussion:

It looks like Salar.Khalid.89 (talk · contribs) (SK89) is also involved somehow, but mainly on the Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology page. ‎ I wonder if there was an unknown wp:Student assignment on that page?
By the way I have just put a CSD#A7 (notability-organization) on their page MNS-UET Chalet of Sports Regards, 220 of Borg 03:45, 7 December 2014 (UTC)

What a mess... At first glance I think they are not all the same person, but all have some competence issues while editing in good faith. I don't have a magic bullet solution to deal with this other than cleaning up the mess, warning, and eventually blocking those who do not start to listen. —Kusma (t·c) 07:34, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
Mess indeed, Mein Herr! Mostly fixed though it was a hard slog by me Justice007, Samee, and some others. I think it should have gone to AN/I earlier, as I believe the tools you Admins have would have made it a lot quicker, (like at total revert of all their edits!) I always start with AGF, unless it's obvious vandalism. But AGF starts to wane after numerous help messages (and warnings) over months are ignored and, when fully explained MOS edits are mass reverted without a word. I was later 'chasing' AkhilHulk, but they finally responded (After almost 24 hours!) And they were only involved in one new page. TJ97 only responded after they were first blocked, to request a page move, and when indeffed! So AGF is a bit hard for me to maintain. I just remembered, they had barnstars on their user page that had not been awarded by the editors whose sigs appeared on them, claimed reviewer status etc, etc. The old copy-someone-else's-userpage ploy I presume! 220 of Borg 13:57, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
