Hi, please do not delete the article Googlovic. In my view the article has a meaning for existence, it contains several useful information. I could think of removing the "presidential box", but the only reason I left it there, was because it was an easy way, how to get the Picture displayed on the side-bar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blueray1978 (talk • contribs) 00:12, 26 March 2009
- Article is at AfD. Let's wait for community consensus. KuroiShiroi (talk) 03:58, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
Matt Barrass
I have reverted your move, as there are two footballers called Matt Barrass - one born 1899, and his great-grandson born in 1980. Please dicsuss page moves in future. Regards, GiantSnowman 04:07, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, didn't know the existence of those two. KuroiShiroi (talk) 04:08, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- No worries, it happens to the best of us! As a rule of thumb, it's better to discuss page moves on an article's talk page, to stop things like this happening in future. GiantSnowman 04:20, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- See, I was patrolling newpages, so most of the time, I get pages where the names are improper because the user is unaware of naming convention. Of course, you're not a new user in the slightest, which is something I will be checking for in the future. Again, sorry for the trouble. KuroiShiroi (talk) 04:22, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- Don't apologise - seriously, it was no effort to correct. Hope the patrolling goes well in future! Thanks, GiantSnowman 04:30, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Your removal of {{db-person}} for Johan Fridlund
Hello KuroiShiroi and welcome to Wikipedia. You removed the speedy-delete I added earlier today for Johan Fridlund, claiming that this 16 year-old passes WP:ATHLETE. I've reviewed WP:ATHLETE (again) and can't find a thread of justification for your claim. Would you write a few words below in support of it? Thanks, Jim Ward (talk) 05:23, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- As I see it, he is a member of Ängelholms FF, a "second tier" team. That would, I assume, be a "pully professional level of a sport", though I may be mistaken as I do not know Swedish football very well. Correct me if I'm wrong, and feel free to AfD him. I just don't see how he is a speedy though. KuroiShiroi (talk) 05:27, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- There seems to be a move afoot by some young Swedish footballers to establish articles about themselves and their friends on Wikipedia. Ponge1992 is one such individual and the author of this article, as well as one about himself. The subject at issue, Mr. Fridlund, is 16 years old, a fact born out by the article. This prima facie gives rise to the question, is it even possible that this individual is established at the fully professional level of the sport, as required by WP:ATHLETE? I'd wager not, but I'd be happy -- save for some disappointment with a culture that supports such a thing -- to be proven wrong. I'll AfD the article. Regards & thanks, Jim Ward (talk) 05:37, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- I have no prejudice to such a motion. I'll bet it actually gets deleted too. Speedies though, do take a bit of specific criteria, and if the tagged person has even the slightest chance of passing Notability, he cannot be deleted via speedy. Sorry for the trouble. Oh, and I definitely agree on the obvious COI creations, but there's not much we can do about it. KuroiShiroi (talk) 05:39, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Melanie Scalera
PLease do not delete my page... I am trying to expand it, if someone does not know Melanie Scalera they do not have a right to say she is not a noteable person! How rude! I have a friend who has a page on here and has done way less movies than her! Page on Melanie Scalera
Um, I think I know who I am and have been in films, major and local and am pretty much well known in my state. It is really rude and predjuced for you to assume that I an a nobody you are probably from some other country, how could you possibly know what goes on about Rhode Island. Edit things and put in your 2 cents about things you actually know about! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.200.180.60 (talk) 07:16, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
I can get over 1,000 people on here to sign a petition verifying that Miss Melanie Scalera is pretty well known around here in this community! There is just no reason why these so called 'editors' should act like they know things they do not. If you don't know, then leave it alone!--Mellrocks (talk) 07:49, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- I did leave it alone. I merely asked that you provide better references and moved the page to the proper location. I haven't voted for the page's deletion and I have not yet inspired your ire, so I would prefer that you avoid speaking of me in such a manner. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 18:00, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Temporary injunction and your use of my monobook script
Hi KuroiShiroi,
I am pleased to see that you have used my monobook script to remove the autoformatting or linking of dates or other functions; I hope you have found it useful.
This is to let you know that ArbCom has announced a temporary injunction against the "mass delinking of dates". You can still delink dates on an occasional basis; however, you may wish to be cautious and use the script only for its non-date functions until the issue is resolved by an RFC poll. You may wish to express your view on autoformatting and date linking in the RFC at: Wikipedia:Date_formatting_and_linking_poll.
Regards Lightmouse (talk) 19:05, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late response. I don't believe I've used it before. I just have the script in my monobook. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 03:13, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth)
You tagged this page for speedy deletion, then another admin blocked the account used to create it (on the same day), making it somewhat difficult to either dispute the deletion or restore the account. Not the most friendly and helpful of actions for my colleague, who is new to Wikipedia.
VicHealth is a Victorian government statutory organisation (ie patently non-commercial) who's primary objective is "to improve the health of all Victorians" through research, advocacy and grants. I don't know how much content had been created, but I imagine even a couple of lines and a URL would have been adequate to allow an assessment that the page did satisfy the requirement for "why its subject is important or significant".
Regardless of our own assessment of the importance (or otherwise) of information about VicHealth, there are already 11 inbound links to the page elsewhere on Wikipedia, hence the fact is somewhat moot - the page is required.
Please recover the page immediately, so further work on its content can be continued, and kindly review pages more fully prior to entering the Speedy Deletion tag.
M1rtyn (talk) 02:00, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- M1rtyn: it appears that in reviewing the deleted content of Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) that it meets criteria for speedy deletion as blatant advertising. Moreover, you appear to have a conflict of interest in editing it, which is against our guidelines. If you feel the deletion was unjustified, please consider deletion review. Additionally, please review our frequently asked questions for businesses and organizations. --slakr\ talk / 03:50, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- Firstly, I did review the page before tagging, and the account did deserve to be blocked. While the page may have been notable, it was an obvious advert and therefore qualified for deletion, as slakr said. Furthermore, I am completely unable to restore pages (as I am not an admin), though, again, as slakr said, you can contact deletion review. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 12:08, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- Slakr: I would refer you and KuroiShiroi to Wikipedia's own excellent definition of Advertising. Not having seen the offending copy on the page in question, I can't vouch for it's POV, but as VicHealth has no products or services available for purchase or consumption by customers, I think it's unlikely to be have "blatant advertising".
- Regarding Conflict of Interest, it would not have been apparent had I not intentionally declared it. There in an astonishing naïveté in Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict of interest and frequently asked questions for businesses and organizations, which is supported by the User Name policy. This in not the correct place for a discussion of this nature however; I will contribute to Wikipedia talk:Username policy and Talk:Conflict of interest.
- In the end, all of this is a colossal waste of all our valuable time (I can see how one can get drawn into flame wars!); we're discussing a small Australian state statutory body here, not a wikipedia page advert for Big Macs aimed at vegetarian schoolchildren. I propose the following: I will create a replacement page containing nothing but an InfoBox, a one line description and a couple of External Links, then flag it as an Australian Government Stub, and leave it to others to take it from there. I'll also create a VicHealth page redirecting to Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth), and sort out any inbound links (which is all I was intending to do in the first place). Agreed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by M1rtyn (talk • contribs) 15:02, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well, is the page notable? KuroiShiroi (contribs) 15:17, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Misunderstanding?
Did not understand the message i just received in my anon account about neutrality in this article, but all i did in there (refs, box, links) was an improvement, that's all...I also pointed out in my summary someone changed his name to IVÁN DE LA RED, that's intentional vandalism, as his name is not that, as the title of article "suggests".
Hope this is only a misunderstanding, it's getting a bit tiresome being accused of things i do not do...Take care, greetings, have a nice weekend,
VASCO AMARAL - --NothingButAGoodNothing (talk) 15:18, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Please don't remove my comments. My rollback there was inappropriate. However, your word change can be constituted as a WP:COI or WP:POV as it is called a "triumph". Please remove that wording. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 15:20, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- VASCO again SHIROI; Indeed it is a misunderstanding, my friend..."Don't remove my comments"? What did i remove? You must tell me, so i can effectively know what are you talking about. Also, you tell me i have incurred in a "triumph" that also needs to be removed, please tell what/where it is (and if you mean the edit summaries, i did not know you could edit summaries).
Please enlight me, i am very confused,
VASCO AMARAL - --NothingButAGoodNothing (talk) 16:13, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Just checked it now and at least i understand the second part: you think i should have not written the word "triumph" in INTERNATIONAL CAREER. Don't know why, as it means exactly the same as a "win" or a "victory", but i have removed/reworded it. The 1st part (removing your comments) however, still requires some further explanation, i believe.
Cheers - --NothingButAGoodNothing (talk) 16:16, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- In this edit, you removed my comment:
:Which page? KuroiShiroi (contribs) 15:14, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- Not a big deal, probably got editconflicted out. Sorry for the trouble. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 22:46, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
TfD nomination of Template:911ct supporters
Template:911ct supporters has been nominated for deletion by Ice Cold Beer. As this TfD nomination includes objections to the same list of people that is currently in use in Template:911ct, I am inviting you to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. (I am sending this message to you as a current or former editor of Alex Jones (radio host), following the guideline on multiple messages.) Regards — Cs32en 09:24, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
- I probably edited that page as an anti-vandal. I have no opinion on this matter, but thanks for the message. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 14:26, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. I've been following the WP:CANVASS guideline. Regards. Cs32en 14:43, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Job profile
A tag has been placed on Job profile requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding
{{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Wuhwuzdat (talk) 02:59, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
- Moved the page to Richard Opanuga if you want to tag that one. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 03:00, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Already done, looks like I tagged it a few seconds after you moved it, resulting in my tag landing on the redirect instead of the article. Wuhwuzdat (talk) 03:02, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yep. It's been deleted now, though I felt the page had a few inklings of notability. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 03:03, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for commenting and suggesting a way forward ! I have done some learning to edit and style the article differently. Is it shaping up well to remove the DELETION tag !!! I would continue to contribute towards WIKI India project now and then to enrich this reliable online public information and knowledge resource platform. Is it in direction of / line with the policy
EduCARE India is a renowned community education and welfare organisation in northwest India and in my view it warrants public domain description where others could contribute over a period of time. It has great references in local print media and publications and government offices.(talkE6nvikas (talk) 09:11, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
- Sure. I've added a few cleanup tags, so hopefully someone can come around and fix it. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 13:07, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Please check diffs first
Hello, please remember to check diffs when you revert an edit. Just take a look here and you'll see what I mean. Thank you. LovesMacs (talk) 01:02, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- While my diff wasn't very good, yours broke many links too. Here's the best one. KuroiShiroi (contribs) 01:05, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- Point taken, thank you for cleaning up after me! LovesMacs (talk) 01:09, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
- Cheers. I'm usually good about those sorts of things, but I probably was going too fast. It looks good now, so thanks for calling me on that in the first place (else I would never have realized). KuroiShiroi (contribs) 01:10, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

AFD withdrawal
Technically, you can't withdraw an AFD after other editors have already voted Delete... that only works if you nominated and nobody else has voted anything but Keep. DreamGuy (talk) 00:05, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Which AfD, specifically? I'll undo my close, but I still withdraw my delete vote. 黒い白い (KuroiShiroi) 00:19, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Done. 黒い白い (KuroiShiroi) 00:22, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
I actually didn't bother telling you which article because I figured it would likely be speedy kept or kept soon anyway (WP:IAR trumping the AFD policy in this case). It was more of something to keep in mind for the future. Sorry for not being explicit about that. DreamGuy (talk) 14:07, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Heh, cheers. I'll remember that. 黒い白い (KuroiShiroi) 15:34, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
