Hi. When you move a page like this, it's normally best to leave the resulting redirect, or at least you should check for incoming links (with "What links here" under "Toolbox" in the left margin). You blanked this one, so that it was soon tagged for deletion by WP:CSD#G7, but there are quite a few incoming links to it. It may be that all or most come from some template, but we ought not to leave them hanging, so I have restored the page as a redirect to Special Secretariat for Human Rights which is where the actual article seems to have ended up. Hey! Thanks, JohnCD. Actually I was trying to move the main article page Special Secretariat for Human Rights to that new page, because that Brazilian governmental office is no more officially called that way. But I wasn't successful, since the page Secretariat for Human Rights already existed (it had been created by myself as a redirect). I think I should request the move to an administrator, as I apparently have no means to do it myself.
The rename dates back to March 2010, actually, as you can see in the Secretariat's official webpage: http://portal.sdh.gov.br/clientes/sedh/sedh/sobre ("Provisional measure signed by the President of the Republic on 25 March, 2010, transformed the secretariat into an essencial office of the Presidency, renaming it as the Secretariat for Human Rights of the Presidency of the Republic" - in Portuguese, in the link). Could you help me? --Krystoffer (talk) 21:10, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done - sorry, I missed this and you were quite right to ping me (my watchlist has got unmanageably big). I have fixed resulting double redirects - a bot is supposed to do that, but I feel more comfortable doing it myself. If you should be in this situation again, {{db-move}} on the target page, in the form {{db-move|1=PAGE TO BE MOVED HERE|2=REASON FOR MOVE}}, is the way to ask. Exlaining deletion from "Que Sera Sera"

[edit]

Hi, Krystoffer. I want to explain why I've reverted your additions of Portuguese to the article on the song "Que Sera Sera". The point of the paragraph is to contrast the one-word interrogatives with the two-word free relatives. In this regard, Portuguese is a distracting exception, since the Portuguese interrogative is often formed with two words, as in "O que é isso?" ("What is that?"). Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of college towns, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Viçosa (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Farroupilha Federal Institute moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Farroupilha Federal Institute, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 01:08, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Krystoffer. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Farroupilha Federal Institute".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 23:17, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
