Thank you so much for your assistance! This leads me to another question. If I cannot use old 'headshots' or old album covers, how do I upload a picture of the actor? Not much online to choose from, which is why I got the studio photos. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kristi Schneider (talkcontribs) 19:51, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kristi, I've moved the conversation to your talk page so you can reply here and I'll spot it as I have put this page on my watch list.
The answer is with difficulty, that's why you see so many articles about actors without imags on them. If there was an article about Ca[tain Pargeter from F Troop then "fair use" would allow an old image of Ken as the character, but "fair use" won't allow the same image on the article about Ken. My advice at the moment would be not to worry about images too much at this stage and concentrate on the prose. NtheP (talk) 05:26, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Kristi. I've answered your question at the Teahouse, but you may want to have a look at my lesson on copyright which I go through with my adoptees. It's quite helpful. WormTT · (talk) 12:46, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I have found a few images of him in Commons but am having trouble inserting them. I'm sorry to be leaning on your help so much, but could really use guidance on how to do this. Of course, I'm assuming I can use those... Thanks again! You're a life saver!

Kirsti, glad you've found some images on Commons, to link to them use the markup [[filename|thumb|caption]] in your article where you want the image to appear. That the images are on Commons doens't make any difference, the software will trace them from WP to Commons. NtheP (talk) 07:50, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In regard to your edit on Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts: Their is no cite to Ken Berry's apperence on that show. None of the references listed on Ken Berry show that he was on that show. I am assuming you will be showing that on the work you are doing on Ken Berry. I am a noob here too and I enjoy editing very much. If there is ever anything I can help you with, feel free to leave me a note on my talk page. Enjoy and keep up the good work.Gtwfan52 (talk) 17:34, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It's in the updated page I am creating in my sandbox. I found it on another site and verified it with him. For shows that old there are many performances that are not listed, and as he was not yet well known when he was on the show (it was a talent show) it could easily be overlooked. Hope that answered your concerns. Please let me know if you would like more info. Thank you so much! Kristi Schneider (talk) 23:45, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Ken Berry, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Little Shop of Horrors, On The Town and The Donny & Marie Show (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
