I declined the speedy deletion of this page because the user does exist now. He wasn't yet a registered user at the time that you nominated the page for speedy deletion; the nomination was correct at the time, but it was superseded by the user's registration. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:49, 30 November 2011 (UTC)
I would like to contest the speedy deletion about my article "Eurotrace". This specific application is not to be sold. We don't want to promote it but, like in the "winamp" article, we just want to explain to our users what is its aim. We present a short explanation of this Database Management System. Thanks for your understanding.Vialepa (talk) 10:38, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- The intention of the article may not have been to promote it, but Wikipedia articles must be neutral, which I don't believe that article was. If you disagree, try deletion review. Kranix (talk) (contribs) 09:45, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

Linux: can you help?
Hello, I was on your user talk page and I noticed that you're a Linux user. I am getting my laptop back in a few weeks, and I would like to know how easy it is to install Linux and if it is worth it. Yours truly, 08murtaghkc. 10:59, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- Linux is only the kernel, so there are many different operating systems based on it. The most popular is Ubuntu. It's quite easy - just download it, burn it to a CD or USB, change your boot order to boot from a CD/USB first, and the installer should boot up. - I know, I just didn't look up what Linux you used; I have seen many videos and it seems to have a very modern, contempory feel (Ubuntu) but the one thing that puts me off is that (apparently) you have to manually install all of your drivers again, is this true? Yours truly, 08murtaghkc. 01:22, 11 December 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 08murtaghkc (talk • contribs)
- I've never had problems with drivers myself, though you'll have to go into a certain menu to enable proprietary drivers; I don't remember where it is, as I haven't actually used Ubuntu for a while, as I really hate the new Unity desktop environment (I used GNOME 2, which was removed in the latest version)
- I understood about 2 words from that; I'm not a pc pro but it seems fairly basic? Thanks for the advice :D — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.236.76.145 (talk) 16:11, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
- The download page might explain it better: [1] Kranix (talk | contribs) 17:12, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
