[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Dude has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bblog(?:cu|fa|harbor|mybrain|post|savy|spot|townhall)?\.com\b (links: http://www.thinkingproblemmanagement.blogspot.com/2007/1). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 14:18, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to List of honorific titles in popular music, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. Please do not continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, as you did with this edit to Fishstick. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Ronhjones (Talk) 20:49, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Top Gear (2002 TV series). Ronhjones (Talk) 20:54, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Kane Murtagh
[edit]A tag has been placed on Kane Murtagh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Request reason:
My account and the IP i vandalised on was blocked at the start of this year (I believe) for vandalism; I fully admit to the vandalism I caused on the Papua new guinea pagetans many other pages. I am deeply sorry for my moment(s) of immaturity as a Wikipedia troll; I can assure you that I fully understand my ban and I apologise to the Wikipedia team, users and any moderators and/or admins. I hope you can accept my apologu and un-ban me and the IP adress; or the IP adress at least so my friends and I can contribute as an active, non-abusive member of Wikipedia. Sorry for any upset and annoyance I caused, Kane Murtagh
Decline reason:
Appeal superceded by new one below; for future reference, you can post to this page without using the unblock template. This template should only be used to post a new appeal after a previous one is declined. Hersfold (t/a/c) 04:55, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Before even considering an unblock (which I am not, mind you, guaranteeing you will be granted), I'd like to know the following:
- You have a significant history of edits which amounted to vandalism. Do you understand how to edit constructively?
- What areas would you like to edit in? Could you please give an example of an edit you would make if you were not blocked today?
- What has changed for you that will assure us the patterns of the past (a few constructive edits along with a lot that were not) will not be repeated? Seraphimblade Talk to me 22:23, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
08murtaghkc (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
(I didn't know were i should post this reply, for i am not permitted to edit your talk page, or chat with you etc. so I am going to post another block request; sorry if that was the wrong thing to do.))I have a significant history of vandalism because I used to troll Wikipedia, which was a stupid mistake which I regret. which ultimatly resulted in my account and my school IP address being Banned. I once again apologise for my actions, and as I have matured so have my actions; i agree what i did was wrong and i can assure that if i was un blocked i would become an active, constructive member. Furthermore, I don't wish to edit a particular region of Wikipedia, but Wikipedia as a whole; with spelling and grammar, snipets of knowledge etc.
Accept reason:
After consulting with the blocking admin, I'll give you another chance. Be aware this is the last chance, and any more disruption will lead to the unblock being swiftly revoked. Seraphimblade Talk to me 21:41, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
I do apologise hersfoldi, I wanted to reply to seraphimblade but I couldn't edit their talk page for I am blocked, and I couldn't fine their email; so I thought the appropriate action would be to post another unblock request for I was still pleading to be unblocked (made sense at the time). Please considder reviewing my unblock request because I would like to contribute my knowledge and edit our grammar mistakes. Thank you for your time, Kane Murtagh.
- Thank you for your apology. While I'd love to assume good faith, there are a few things to settle:
- What caused your about-face in terms of vandalism? In the past, you were blocked multiple times (for 31 hours, then two weeks) and given multiple warnings, yet you kept vandalizing (which resulted in the indefinite block). Given that you disregarded our warnings and burned up all your chances without seemingly caring, why should we give you back the right to edit Wikipedia?
- If you're interested in janitorial work such as spelling and grammar, have you read policies such as the Manual of Style on spelling? Do you understand basic policies and formatting?
- Again, I'd like to give you another chance, but your past is still fresh - the examples of vandalism span over a year, too. Looking forward to your reply, m.o.p 20:04, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
Whilst having no excuse to vandalise, the reason i did it was because i was trolling wikipedia with my firends; which was an immature thing to do; which resulted in my and my school's IP ban. However, as i have grown with age, I have grown with maturity; which is why I would like to become an active member of Wikipedia and hopefully an admin - to stop people like me and/or help them. I understand and agree with my ban, and i can fully understand/agree if I don't get a final (I assume) chance. Once again, thank you for giving your time to read my plea; I hope you come to the decision to reinstate me. [edit] furthermore with spelling and grammar, I would only change minor things (add commas, semi-colons etc) and only change blatant, or minor spelling errors; not words like color/colour.
Is there a chance you could you post my apology to Favonian's talk page; as I originally wanted to apologise to the person who banned me.
- I'll ask your blocking administrator and see if they have any input. m.o.p 21:18, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
I've unblocked after consulting with the blocking admin. Good luck, and if you have any questions, please do ask. You can either ask me, or for a likely faster response, ask at editor assistance. Seraphimblade Talk to me 21:45, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
Thank you ever so much for giving me another chance; I will assure you I shall never vandalise Wikipedia on purpose. I shall contribute the best of my knowledge to articles and work mainly or cleaning up articles, sources etc. I do have one question though, I am un-banned but when I tried to edit an article i was still auto ip banned; because I had signed in with a (now previously) banned account. Should I appeal for an un-ban or just wait it off for two days?
- You'll see a set of instructions come up when you attempt to edit. Follow those to request a lift on the autoblock. Seraphimblade Talk to me 23:00, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
My account has been un blocked; but my IP remains blocked:

Block message:
Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "08murtaghkc". The reason given for 08murtaghkc's block is: "Vandalism: resumed activity for which they were blocked".
Accept reason: Cleared. Hersfold (t/a/c) 00:26, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
I was attempting to edit one of my draft articles in school today; until I found out the IP range was banned. I am led to believe this is partially due to my persistent vandalism on the IP over the last two years; therefore I am going to apply for an un-block of that IP range.

Decline reason: It's not an auto-block but a range block imposed on the school network because of widespread vandalism. It should only affect anonymous editing, so if you remember to log in, you should be able to edit. Favonian (talk) 16:23, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, User:08murtaghkc/Bradley Stoke Community School. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Bradley Stoke Community School. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Bradley Stoke Community School - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Sorry but that is NOT an appropriate use of userspace! Barts1a | Talk to me | Yell at me 11:02, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
