Tesla

[edit]

I noticed your discussion. Sorry, but those guys on that discussion are just trying to suppress any discussion about Tesla's ethnicity/nationality because they feel they had their way in the article. For instance, that editor that has answered you had said that Kingdom of Croatia didn't exist at that time, however sources on that matter have been presented on the talk page and he is aware of them. Look at this sources : [1]. The quote is "After many pleas from Jelecic, in 1850 the King's proclamation, which was signed by all 8 Austrian ministers, was finally announced...For Military Frontier, the King decided that it will remain within its present territory. However, it will with, Croatia and Slavonia, constitute a single land with disaggregated provincial and military administration, and representation.". So we already have a source which says that the area Tesla was born in, Military Frontier, has with Croatia and Slavonia "one land". As for how that "land" should be named, we can use Tesla's quote: "I was born in Croatia". So there's really nothing to discuss pass those sources, however they just won't accept them because they are biased. If you want to further discuss, I can help. I'm familiar with a lot of previous discussion, as well as with the editors present in that discussion and their bias. 141.138.60.171 (talk) 22:36, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It would be interesting to find out why that editor finds Tesla to be Serb considering his post. The sources on Tesla's ethnicity are all over the place: [2] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.138.60.171 (talk) 22:37, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop pushing the FRY into the Yu article

[edit]

It's been discussed several times at great length. The consensus is to treat it as a successor to "Yugoslavia", not a "third Yugoslavia"... Ne budi dosadan s ovim, procitaj prosle rasprave... -- Director (talk) 10:27, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

-- Director (talk) 13:35, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dalmatian derby (Hajduk Split vs Šibenik), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Croatian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

2020 coronavirus pandemic in Croatia

[edit]

I did not revert you, but changed the date because the data on the map corresponded with the data on 9 April 2020. You have updated the map, and I have checked this before I made my edit, at 11:36m the official data for 10 April 2020 was released at 2:00 PM CEST, so it was not possible that the data on the map was for 10 April 2020. ;) Please don't be angry. :) Also, look at the table Infected per county, I have added info on "Infected per 100,000 inhabitants, maybe you can make a map with that info also. I have seen that articles about other countries have that kind of map. --Tuvixer (talk) 18:22, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I would probably make sense to have the old logo somewhere in the article, with a caption saying that this was the logo for so-and-so many years. Debresser (talk) 12:38, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

Nice hearing from you, particularly on the topic of this very interesting article.

I started to work on the article, gathering some sources first, but didn't quite finish what I had in mind because I was fairly busy lately. :-) In the process, I saw that particular edit and was close to reverting it, but decided to hold it off until later in the expansion. While Udaina most certainly had at least some Croatian parentage (for example, his father's name was Frane), his native language was Italian, so I'd say it's hard to meaningfully describe him as anyone other than an Italian man, but I felt it would better to fully examine the sources first. The article is on my watchlist, so if you leave a comment there, I'll chip in, time permitting. GregorB (talk) 18:54, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have no preference. I let it stay for the time being, but if it read e.g. "Italian", I'd let it stay too. I wouldn't object if you changed it. At some point in the near future, I'll comment specifically on the ethnicity issue in the article's talk. GregorB (talk) 19:25, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
