I saw you asked a question on the image use policy page. Yes you can use images you have taken here. They need to be usefull to an article, and you need to release them to a compatable license. There are many choices of compatable licenses in the upload menu. I use either Public domain(completely giving up all rights) or the Creative Commons attribution license, which lets people use the image for any purpose if they give credit to you. If you need more detailed help just click the Ask me button on my signature and ask me. HighInBC (Need help? Ask me) 18:02, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]Why are you screwing with my talk page? 69.130.18.93 01:41, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- To put it more politely, users are allowed to blank their own pages if they wish and remove warnings even, per much talk on WP:AN and WP:AN/I. It's not recommended, but it's not barred either. FYI. Keep up the good work... Tyrenius 01:56, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- No it hasn't been. I did work on TPG to straighten it up, but at that time the position re user talk pages wasn't clear. Since then it has been firmed up, but loads of people still don't realise, so it's necessary to explain what's happened. I think I'll have a look at the guideline again. This medal is awarded to Kochdude388 for knowing how to prove that two is greater than one. You know one of the simplest proofs in the world! Great job! |
Vandalism clean-up
[edit]Not a problem. That IP wound up blocked. He trashed my talk page, then your user page. Somebody has logged on from that IP today, but appears to be doing something less destructive. Cheers! —Gaff ταλκ 00:41, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
