Thank you for all your work on the List of people scheduled to be executed in the United States page, as well as all the other related list pages, you update them properly and accurately in the right format which many users do not do. Thanks and keep it up! Regards. Inexpiable (talk) 11:31, 11 October 2023 (UTC) |
Updates the United States execution list for 2024, I know that Ramiro has not yet been executed, however it is confirmed that his execution will not be postponed

- No. In my opinion it isn‘t completely ok. It may be confirmed but there are several reasons to wait until death is confirmed: What if the execution can‘t be carried out - e.g. because no iv is found…, and the warrant remains active until the the prisoner‘s death or midnight. And it simply doesn‘t make sense to count a person as executed if the person isn‘t actually and there is an active warrant (even if it is sure that there won‘t be legal issues, remedies …) I also think rhere is amreason this wasn‘t common practice in all the years this list is existing - at least not in the three years I am editing it Klein Besserwisserchen (talk) 22:40, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
