I was up until 12:30 am! I know KASW shut off analog at 4:30 am because dhett said "KASW shuts analog off at 4:30 am and KTVK switches over to analog nightlight at the same time" at the radio-info message board.[1] Powergate92Talk 20:43, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

KPNX will shut off at 10:12 pm and KTVW-TV will shut off at 10:59 pm![2] My username on Radio-info is Powergate92 the same as on here! Powergate92Talk 20:56, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

They said in their newscast to rescan your DTV box after 10:35pm. That indicated to me digital 12 would be up by then. I'm sure there will be an overlap with both digital 12 and 36 on at the same time though. Unfortunately I'm on cable here so just taking the newscasts word for it. The main reason I did the edit was someone jumped the gun before me and didn't do a good job of it. They changed it about 30 minutes before the switch. The article didn't really make sense referencing digital 36 UHF as their station but info box said digital 12 UHF. Yup had to change that to VHF too ;) Skywayman (talk) 05:49, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

re your acceptance (great!) and comments, this page#section notes the steps you may wish to take and the extent of advertising your nomination. Sticking to within the rules is an absolute. Hopefully, some other editors will note it on your talkpage and participate. In the end, I would trust the usual denizens of the RfA pages - they are quite tough, but ultimately fair; it is as good a preparation for the trials of adminship as the first complaint of admin abuse that hits ANI... One thing I noted when setting this up is that you had an untranscluded RfA from back in 2006 - smart admins may notice it, so you might wish to comment on that matter in this one. Anyway, look at your answers afresh and when you are comfortable with it transclude it to the main page (I can and will do it if you wish, but it looks better if you are comfortable with new processes to do it yourself). Hold on for a couple of days and see if there any lessons to be learned, or to cut out now and contemplate what has been said to date - I have to admit there is very little chance of it now passing. I think giving it a couple of days to see what more dispassionate opinions might have to say is a good idea. I also think that making hard decisions about your future editing in light of this situation is premature; once you have decided that there is nothing more to be gained in running the Request then close it down, and then just relax for a while and let yourself come to a decision about what you want to do - but it doesn't have to be a permanent choice. An unsuccessful RfA only means you do not get the extra "sysop" buttons this time - otherwise you can carry on as before (or take a break) as you wish. There is no need to to let it effect your Wikipedia experience (think of it like a driving test; it doesn't mean that not passing also means you have to give up bike riding, etc.) Let me know when you have had enough "helpful hints" on the page, and I will close it down for you. A voice from the past....

Inre this note... the article that you properly nominated for AfD in January of 2009 looked like THIS... poorly formatted... unsourced... full of hyberbole... pretty much a mess. I've done considerable work since then on what is residing at Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Reed Cowan and wish it to be evaluated for possible return to mainspace. Yes, I still feel his awards and nominations as a TV journalist push at bringing him in per WP:ANYBIO. Even granting that some editors feel regional Emmy Awards might be non-notable, that the "regions" being covered represent such a large portions of the US is indicative that their notability as awards is reasonable to presume and easier to source. However, but more important to his notability... Cowan has become a newsman who is now himself making the news. He is the subject of news coverage as an activist and filmmaker, thus allowing him to meet the requirements of WP:GNG. The article has come a long way. Do you see portions of the article that might best go, as weakening it? Any thoughts or advice would be most welcome. Schmidt, ^{MICHAEL Q.} 23:10, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
