[edit]Hello. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Equipment of the Malaysian Army without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ways to improve Tun Azizan
[edit]Hi, I'm Onel5969. Kistara, thanks for creating Tun Azizan!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please fix the references. See WP:CIT on how to format references.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hello, and thank you for creating this article and continuing to improve it. I just wanted to address the issue of citations ("refs" or "sources") with you. Several of the refs in the article were not active links, which I addressed with this edit. Even then, all of those refs were bare, and it is preferred practice to fill them in. I've done that with the first one, seen here, as an example. Also, I noted that the same ref was used more than once, and I've address that as well, seen here, also as an example. Content creation is important, but as you know, so is sourcing. If you could please complete (fill in) the refs you add to this, and any other article, that would be of great benefit to the project, your fellow editors and our readers. I hope you find this information and these diffs helpful. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources and Template:Cite web for more information. Thanks again for your efforts, and your cooperation here. - theWOLFchild 14:47, 1 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Kistara, Can you create a table for future procurement at Malaysian Army, Royal Malaysian Air Force, and Royal Malaysian Navy page?? Klueng (talk) 01:51, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Lekiu-class frigate into KD Lekiu (FFG30). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 12:04, 11 June 2021 (UTC)

- But it's not FN Minimi but Other LMGs. Will you add on Procussment.60.52.218.17 (talk) 08:23, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
Its (Minimi) already there under RPK machine gun. Kistara (talk) 05:29, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
I already said, FN Minimi wasn't the only one under new Replacement. The Delivery Might not be FN Minimi but other like FN EVOLYS or K3 para. Just read it again.42.188.83.186 (talk) 05:40, 1 August 2021 (UTC)
Ohh..I see. About the procurement section I don't give much focus in adding content because most of them just in tender selection process phase and not confirmed or contracted yet, except for those already confirmed or stated in source then I will add that content. As example Minimi is already confirmed by source but Evolys and K3 is just prediction. I only edit occasionally for that section like the format, capitalisation, position and other minor edit. There are another user that focus in editing that section and maybe you can ask he/her help.
To me you also can help by expanding procurement section even you are anonymous user as long as you have source and don't break any rule. IMHO Wikipedia is place for everyone and not privilege for certain user only. Happy editing and cheers. Kistara (talk) 06:33, 3 August 2021 (UTC)

About my revision
[edit]@Kistara I saw you deleted the information I added earlier. However, according to a source I have cited,[1] the director of PT Pindad himself stated that the factory had already exported Pindad Anoa to Malaysia. And Malaysia have also used several Pindad Anoas in various UN missions. Abhiseka Nareswara (talk) 08:39, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
- And also, the Pindad SS2-V5 A1 assault rifle was also given by Pindad to Malaysia as a gift for visiting Pindad's head office. Abhiseka Nareswara (talk) 08:43, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
- That's only for gift and not for in service (officially inducted) in army's service. And for information it is common for the head of the armed forces to receive gift from their counterpart in their visit to other country. ATM Jeneral Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Affendi Bin Buang already received a lot of gift especially guns in their previous oversea visit but we here don't put that in the inventory as it is for personal person. Kistara (talk) 01:34, 6 April 2023 (UTC)
- The source is unreliable (blog and your own website) and just one sided claim (from you country), rumors, opinion and promotional need to be avoid from wikipedia. Contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources. And frankly speaking we all no there is no Pindad Anoa in Malaysian Army inventory. Kistara (talk) 01:28, 6 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Kistara [2] I think CNBC Indonesia is not a blog site but a news site, it is also written that Pindad has exported Anoa armored vehicles to Malaysia. Abhiseka Nareswara (talk) 04:14, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
- Fact check and general knowledge. This is some of the requirement to be a Wikipedia editor. If you got some news or references make sure to make a fact check first. I'll give you some example.
- SIPRI which is a very reliable source once (circa 2005 - 2010) stated that Malaysia has ordered 6 corvette from South Korea. This trade register long lasting for several years until they realize there is no corvette ordered by Malaysia from South Korea. Also based on general knowledge of me and other local editors from our participation and engagement in various platform of local military enthusiast such as forum, blog, website or even facebook or twitter there is really no contracted for those ship. So, we fixed it. Another example; Flight Global : World Air Force stated that as 2023 Malaysia owned a total of 9 CN-235 in its inventory. Based on fact check and general knowledge of us local editor there was only 7 CN-235 in inventory of Malaysia as 2023. So, if we know the wronged information why would we still uses that references especially if there others references available that denied that contradicted statement. Long ago our trusted local newspaper also stated that Malaysia operates 8 F-16 based in Butterworth, Penang. All of us knew that there is no such fighter jet uses by Malaysia so we can said that there was editors fault in differentiate between F-16 and F-18.
- About the reference gave by you, there is no other references especially reliable references that support Anoa already export to the said country. Sincere question here, based on your general knowledge maybe from your local participation or engagement in your local military platform such as forum, blog, website or even facebook or twitter, is there any other users operates Anoa other than Indonesia? For more clarification maybe you can asked some question from your trusted local pages about the other users of Anoa (if there any). Kistara (talk) 01:32, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Kistara [2] I think CNBC Indonesia is not a blog site but a news site, it is also written that Pindad has exported Anoa armored vehicles to Malaysia. Abhiseka Nareswara (talk) 04:14, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at List of equipment of the Royal Malaysian Navy shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Bbb23 (talk) 15:23, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Bbb23 Sorry for that. I have already request for page protection before this warning came out, not to accused anyone but based on some proof (behavior, area of interest, weird capitalization etc) I suspect the person that keep change the information in this page is suspected sockpuppet of Fonte de regaz [3]. I already collected some proof (based on diff) and will request the sockpuppet investigation in the next future but now I want to take care of this page first before lodging the report. Now came new anonymous IP keep editing this page again. Do you have any advices or ways to settled this in proper manner? Kistara (talk) 05:30, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
