[edit]Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use your sandbox. Thank you. 💜 melecie talk - 01:00, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Jewish Palestinian Aramaic, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 03:00, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- You are incredibly biased it's clearly an anachronistic name. All I did to the headline was change the language name to it's other name that is also mentioned in the article because it's more accurate and less offensive Kingoflevant (talk) 03:41, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. jlwoodwa (talk) 02:57, 14 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Your contributions indicate that you may have attempted to subvert the extended-confirmation access level required to edit in the Arab–Israeli topic area through repeated dummy edits. As such, I've removed your extended-confirmed permissions. You may not edit in the topic area until said permissions are restored – if you'd like to appeal this action, you can do so at the administrators' noticeboard or by pinging me. Thanks. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 08:57, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- I had this account probably before this edit that most jews see as antisemitism was made. I don't understand why you are blindingly and puzzlingly defending it. Nowhere does it say what kind of edits you need to do to have a permission to edit, you're discriminating agaisnt me for no real reason Kingoflevant (talk) 09:07, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- I have no comment on the merits of the edits you made after you gained extended-confirmed status, only that you were not qualified to make that edit as you attempted to game the system. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 09:24, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- It says that gaming the system is to write in a sand box which i didnt ans dont even know what it is ans that it's something like vandalizing an article into somethinf controversial but you're the one legitimizing antisemtic vandalization that later was locked so it wouldn't be able to be changed by others! I won't revert it again if that's the problem I will just change the antisemitic part that was previously, Before the war, was written as an opinion of critics and was changed to be written like a fact because whoever did that has a political agenda Kingoflevant (talk) 18:37, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- It doesn't. It provides that as a single example. Making 500 utterly trivial edits over a few hours and then making an obviously controversial edit to an extended protected article is epitome of gaming. Use the article's talk pages to provide suggestions, please. You can form a consensus there. Sam Kuru (talk) 20:38, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- "Use the article's talk pages to provide suggestions, please. You can form a consensus there." No, this can only be done by EC users. Non-EC users are allowed only to make talk page edit requests. IOHANNVSVERVS (talk) 21:22, 14 September 2024 (UTC)
- Ah, I did not look at the additional restrictions on the article - was just speaking to typical extended protection. Yes, you'd need to avoid anything other than a very, very specific edit request there as your extended-confirmed status has been removed. Sam Kuru (talk) 22:37, 14 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Vivienne Medrano, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Director. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Jewish Palestinian Aramaic
[edit]You appear to lack a solid grasp of certain Wikipedia policies and accepted conventions which are involved in your edits, which can have the effect of annoying other people -- and your claim that "Palestine" with an "e" is completely separate and unrelated to "Palaestine" with an "ae" is wrong and dumb. Maybe you should slow down and learn a little bit, because you charging ahead with your current level of unearned confidence can be interpreted by others as arrogance.
