Person to add to List of people who disappeared list

Please add Herbert Gould to the List of people who disappeared (pre-1970). Davidgoodheart (talk) 09:07, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Done, Davidgoodheart. Wonder if an image exists of this individual?--Kieronoldham (talk) 21:57, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
Please add currently wanted fugitive Credonia Mwerinde to the List of fugitives from justice who disappeared. Also I haven't been able to find any pictures of Herbert Gould as of yet. Davidgoodheart (talk) 03:40, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
And another promise to do, will be kept.--Kieronoldham (talk) 18:51, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
Please add Danielle van Dam to the List of solved missing person cases. Hopefully I will getting some more computer help early next month. I also have been working very hard to get the 100,000 edit award. Davidgoodheart (talk) 02:24, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Aye, you are number 1,102 upon the list of Wikipedians by number of edits. I'm down at #2,950-ish. Keep going.--:::::Kieronoldham (talk) 21:28, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Please add Robert Berdella to the List of fugitives from justice who are no longer sought. Thanks for you help with editing, you are some of the best help that I have been getting! Where is this list that you speak about? Davidgoodheart (talk) 01:27, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Sure, Davidgoodheart: Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of edits. Berdella wasnae really a fugitive. I could quote sections of Troy Jackson's book. If you're referring Howell's murder, then if I'm overlooking something please enlighten me? Thanks.--Kieronoldham (talk) 01:53, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Ok, then please add Rayed Abdullah Salem Al Harbi to List of fugitives from justice who are no longer sought instead. I will be sure to check out that list as well. Davidgoodheart (talk) 02:01, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Okays, Davidgoodheart. Will do, within 24 hours max. If you have any contacts (Wiki. or otherwise) could you please refer this individual as a potential candidate for, particularly, Body 21 of John Gacy's remaining unidentified victims? Seems a reasonable compromise esp. given the spike in media etc. interest in the case, but despite the rule-outs and characteristics and ongoing efforts, this individual has still not been listed as excluded. Media interest (and podcasting John and Jane Publics etc. etc.) is at a mental peak. Labor forces need incentives.--Kieronoldham (talk) 02:15, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
I am busy right now, but I will take a look at it when I can. Thanks again for your ongoing help! Davidgoodheart (talk) 02:24, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
You're welcome. Have a good weekend.--Kieronoldham (talk) 02:28, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
The article does not specify how long Al Harbi was a fugitive, Davidgoodheart.--Kieronoldham (talk) 21:02, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
I have now read from a wanted list here: Saudi list of most-wanted suspected terrorists that Rayed Abdullah Salem Al Harbi was added in February 2009. You are right as well that Robert Berdella wasn't really a fugitive as I didn't read his article closely enough. Davidgoodheart (talk) 21:33, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Please add Hannah Anderson to the List of solved missing person cases. I am now number 1081 on that list. Davidgoodheart (talk) 07:59, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Will do. Still languishing at c. 2,950 myself.--Kieronoldham (talk) 20:33, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Please add formerly wanted fugitive Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi to the List of fugitives from justice who disappeared. Also I thought that I would let you know that I won't have to retire after all. Davidgoodheart (talk) 23:47, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Okays, will do. Will sort these out tomorrow.--Kieronoldham (talk) 03:05, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
Is he actually still missing, Davidgoodheart?--Kieronoldham (talk) 23:40, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
No, I just found that out by reading this here: ISIS leader captured: Iraqi Intelligence Service announce arrest of Abu Ibrahim al-Qurashi. You can add him to the List of fugitives from justice who are no longer sought instead then. Davidgoodheart (talk) 00:34, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi, I have just been informed on my talkpage that he is still wanted. He needs to be added to List of fugitives from justice who disappeared. (talk) Davidgoodheart (talk) 21:06, 7 May 2021 (UTC)

Dahmer in Germany

So what now? Can we remove that paragraph or someone else has to do it (if they agree with our arguments)?--CJC-DI (talk) 10:44, 29 April 2021 (UTC)

Give it a few days, CJC-DI. Wait and see what the response is. People may agree or not. If nobody has responded by, say, Sunday, try and remove it with a concise explanation as to why (talk page). At the very least, it will open dialogue for discussion. Regards, --Kieronoldham (talk) 17:15, 29 April 2021 (UTC)
It's Monday. Nobody else commented on the Talk page. I wanted to ask, could you remove that paragraph? Please, Kieronoldham? I wanted to do it myself, but you said that it should be moved to notes section instead. I'm not sure how to do it.--CJC-DI (talk) 02:36, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
What I meant by notes section, was the actual Notes section (as you likely know). I'll do this, CJC-DI, or at least try. It will (if my edit is accepted) invoke the discussion as to the inclusion or degree of inclusion.--Kieronoldham (talk) 03:01, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Has all been resolved, CJC-DI. We'll see how the edits are received but, thus far at least, there seems to be no opposition. There are 688 watchers though. Far fewer Wiki. editors pay attention to the discussion pages of the articles they watch as opposed to the main page... Monitor the reaction of the page users/viewers over the coming week or so. (I agreed with your observation but consensus governs.) All the best.--Kieronoldham (talk) 03:17, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Thank you, Kieronoldham!--CJC-DI (talk) 15:24, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Okays, pal.--Kieronoldham (talk) 20:34, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

Dahmer - Schizoid Personality Disorder

Hi! Where does "psychotic disorder" come from? As far as I know, he was never diagnosed with psychotic disorder? I thought he was diagnosed with Bordeline Personality Disorder, Schizoid Personality Disorder and Schizotypal Personality Disorder.--CJC-DI (talk) 10:50, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

I guess I rushed. Psychotic disorder is mentioned in the "Trial" section: "The final defense expert to testify, forensic psychiatrist Dr. Carl Wahlstrom, diagnosed Dahmer with necrophilia, borderline personality disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, alcohol dependence, and a psychotic disorder." I'm not really against saying he had a psychotic disorder, I'm just confused why schizoid disorder is not mentioned anywhere in the wiki article. Can it be added to the intro text? Masters mentions schizoid disorder multiple times in his book.--CJC-DI (talk) 13:51, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
I don't recall this being mentioned in the trial section of the book, CJC-DI. Let me see.--Kieronoldham (talk) 19:25, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Added an inclusion, CJC-DI. A Dr. Rosen diagnosed him as an SPD sufferer in 1987.--Kieronoldham (talk) 19:56, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
Thank you, Kieronoldham!
Nae worries, CJC-DI. This general topic as a whole can be sensitive, and confrontational. I could say more but it is difficult for some to process.--Kieronoldham (talk) 01:09, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jeffrey Dahmer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alienation.

Dahmer - Ethnicity of victims

Hi! Yes, I know that the third victim was Native American, but there were still 10 black men. 3 Caucasian, 2 Latino, 1 Asian, 1 Native American, 10 African American = 17 victims.--CJC-DI (talk) 21:38, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

Hi, CJC-DI. Of Dahmer's victims three were Caucasian; One Hispanic; One American Indian; One half-Jewish Puerto Rican; One Laotian; nine black; One (Sears) was mixed-race p. 135 of Masters' book.
Hi, Kieronoldham! I believe Sears is what counts as the 10th black man. In Inside Edition interview, the reporter asks, "10 of your victims were black. Was it racially motivated?" Dahmer doesn't correct her number. During the trial, Dr. Palermo said 11 victims were black and Dahmer did correct this by writing a note to his lawyer where he said, "10 victims were black, not 11." From "Dahmer Detective" book: "It was easy to see how his killings could be misconstructed. The death tally was three Caucasian, two Latino, one Asian, one Native American and ten African American men. He had proven to be a multicultural killer."--CJC-DI (talk) 00:27, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
Depends how you classify people of mixed race, I suppose. (Am I classified as English or Irish as I am 50/50 heritage-wise?) May have been a memory flaw on his part? Regurgitated legal documents? This can feed into ignorance even if we do not wish so. His half-sister was named Geraldine Martin. Her skin was much darker than Sears'. Article does state Sears was mixed-race so if it should be changed, that still stands? --Kieronoldham (talk) 00:41, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
You mean you want to change it to "ten victims being black"? If I understood you correctly, then yes, Sears's section should state that he was mixed-race. If I misunderstood you, my apologies! I'm fine if the article says "nine." I just always thought that Sears counts as being black man. But if not, then nine it is.--CJC-DI (talk) 01:57, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
Easy regardless, CJC-DI. Race is a sensitive issue with this case but (at least I would hope) it has been fully explored in the article given Dahmer's fetishes, general demographics etc. If you think it should be adjusted, go for it. All the best.--Kieronoldham (talk) 02:09, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
No, it's fine! Unless the subject will be brought up in the future, we can discuss it again then.--CJC-DI (talk) 02:28, 7 May 2021 (UTC)
I was just about to adjust the article using this ref.[1] when you replied, CJC-DI. A lot of the earlier published books lean towards sensationalism. All the best, --Kieronoldham (talk) 02:36, 7 May 2021 (UTC)

Adding to disappeared lists and giving information

Please add Arthur Rhys-Davids to List of people who disappeared (pre- 1970). I will be getting some computer help soon and perhaps it will be more often soon. Also the Disappearance of Maya Millete survived the AFD. I asked an administrator to close it once I noticed that it had been up for deletion longer than it should of been. Davidgoodheart (talk) 06:28, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

That's beneficial to acknowledge, Davidgoodheart. As long as I have sufficient time on my hands, I am happy to assist. Shall add that entry shortly. Regards, --Kieronoldham (talk) 18:52, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Please add currently wanted fugitive Sami Jasim Muhammad al-Jaburi since 2015 to the List of fugitives from justice who disappeared. Davidgoodheart (talk) 22:41, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Sure. I'll get around to this pal. Key.--Kieronoldham (talk) 00:49, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
Done Someone  Done has already beat me to this... :D--Kieronoldham (talk) 00:57, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi, I know, I just saw that. Please add Leon Vance to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea. Davidgoodheart (talk) 01:02, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
Please add Damer Leslie Allen to the List of people who disappeared mysteriously at sea. I had it added to the wrong missing person's list by mistake. Davidgoodheart (talk) 03:16, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
Sure. Will do thenceforth.--Kieronoldham (talk) 03:21, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi, I heard from my computer help people and they said they are not offering help at the moment and won't be able to let me know when they will be for a month. This means that I will have to wait to get help. I would like to put my barnstars at the bottom of my userpage, could you please help me with that, as I am not sure how to do so. Please add the Keddie murders to the List of solved missing person cases. Davidgoodheart (talk) 18:10, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
Great work! Please add Graziano Mesina to the List of fugitives from justice who disappeared. Also thank you for letting me know when you don't think an entry should be added for the reasons that you provide. Davidgoodheart (talk) 00:43, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
That has only happened once, Davidgoodheart? Regardless, you're welcome. I'll get around to adding the entry shortly. (=Tomorrow.) Regards, --Kieronoldham (talk) 01:51, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Dahmer - Trial dates

Can fix a couple of dates? Right now it sounds as though Dahmer was ruled sane and sentenced to 15 life imprisonments on February 15. But that's incorrect. Dahmer was ruled sane on February 16 and was sentenced to 15 life imprisonments on February 17.--CJC-DI (talk) 23:52, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

I thought he was found sane on Saturday, Feb. 15, and formal sentencing was postponed until February 17? Looks like the article needs expanding here, CJC-DI?--Kieronoldham (talk) 00:08, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
Don't know if you'll agree with me, but I also believe the article would benefit greatly from three or four non-free images?--Kieronoldham (talk) 00:11, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
I googled the dates to make sure. He was definitely found sane on Feb. 16 and sentenced on Feb 17. As for the images... I haven't really thought about it.
I thought they were news articles from that date reporting on the previous day's proceedings? If you have reliable links or references, add them to the article. :) Regards, --Kieronoldham (talk) 00:52, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
