Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Kezchow, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Proposed changes to the National Economic Association page

[edit]

Hi there! I'm delighted that you're working on adding to the NEA page. However, the sources you've listed in your sandbox sound like primary sources. Before you make these changes, please study Wikipedia:No original research carefully, to make sure your hard work won't be removed by an editor enforcing that policy. Since you're working on this page as part of a course, you might want to speak with your course instructor about how to handle the use of primary sources in Wikipedia editing.--EAWH (talk) 21:53, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi EAWH! Thank you for your feedback, we got these sources directly from people involved with the NEA but I guess that since the sources aren't published, we can't use them. We'll edit our proposal accordingly, but please let us know if you know where we could find other appropriate sources to use. Kezchow (talk) 20:14, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We're going to get some secondary sources instead from those people involved with the NEA and also spend more time working on a different article related to the NEA. Yowashi23 (talk) 22:30, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'll be emailing them today to get the information. Thanks again. Ojc1 (talk) 00:01, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A Barnstar for you!
