This user is a student editor in Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/New_York_University/Research_Process_and_Methodology_-_RPM_FA_1_2017_(Fall). Student assignments should always be carried out using a course page set up by the instructor. It is usually best to develop assignments in your sandbox. After evaluation, the additions may go on to become a Wikipedia article or be published in an existing article. |

[edit]You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.
If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. Orange Mike | Talk 14:12, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
- SafeCall is the name of a business, and we don't ever permit usernames in the name of businesses, organizations, etc. We welcome the human being behind the name, as soon as you get the name problem straightened out. Please feel free to call on me in the future, even though I am known as a pretty fierce spamfighter and SEO remover. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:14, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Orangemike, it looks like no one ever unblocked this account after the name change. I'm going to unblock it using my admin account. In any case, this is a student's account so the choice of a business name was likely coincidental. Just wanted to let you know what I'm going to do.
