Hello, Kenny G TX, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for Interstate 69 in Texas. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

Road maps

[edit]

It's great that you're creating these, and I have one small suggestion. Can you indicate the GIS sources you're using to create them in the source part of the information page? That way, say in a few years when someone goes to nominate the article at GAN/ACR/FAC, we won't have to track you down to add that. Ideally, every map should list its sources, although many don't. Thanks for the heads up! I've added GIS data sources on the following file: thumb|100px|none
Not sure if I did it correctly. Still quite new to this, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Kenny G TX (talk) 05:45, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That works just fine! That way anyone later will know what you used to make the file. Imzadi 1979  11:41, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Westpark Tollway map

[edit]

I pulled the map from Westpark Tollway because it contained the non-free image of the tollway shield (the pentagon is OK). The problem is each time the shield is used on a page a separate fair-use rationale is required otherwise it's a copyright violation. If you redo that map without the tollway shield, everything should be fine. Thanks for helping out with maps! –Fredddie 16:06, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Interview request for The Center Line

[edit]

The editors of The Center Line, the quarterly newsletter of the U.S. Roads WikiProject are asking if you, as an editor new to USRD, would be willing to answer three quick questions for an interview featurette in our next issue.

  1. What article(s) are you working on these days?
  2. What is your short-term goal for the article(s)? Long-term?
  3. What is your favorite highway?

The space to answer these can be found at WP:USRD/NR#New editor interviews. Thanks, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) on behalf of Imzadi 1979  02:52, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
