Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Kengi1982! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 7 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 272 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Bangnolac Jean Franklin - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Piyakul Kaewnamkang has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Hello, I'm Francophonie&Androphilie. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Mohd Safee Mohd Sali without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! — Francophonie&Androphilie(Je vous invite à me parler) 21:24, 9 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mohd Safee Mohd Sali, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. The article Chaiyarat Madsiri has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Thai footballer of questionable notability. Notability depends on being on Wuachon United. No cited facts, only a single external link to a database page that appears to not list any appearances for this player. Sources present at this time do not give rise to credible notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kittiphong Pluemjai, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 22:40, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Yosapol Tiangda and Tanasak Srisai. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Please do not delete the AfD notice from Yosapol Tiangda. It probably wasn't your intention, but this sort of action is generally considered to be vandalism. This is your last warning. The next time you remove an Articles for deletion notice or a comment from an AfD discussion, as you did at Yosapol Tiangda, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. ★ Bald Zebra ★ talk 16:00, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of List of Muangthong United players, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: List of Muangthong United F.C. players. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 22:56, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion of Thailand Templates for Deleting

Discussion of Thailand Templates for Deleting is ongoing now. Please voice your choice(keep/delete) with brief reasons.hoising (talk) 02:03, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ernesto Amantegui has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFOOTBALL and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Footballer notability

[edit]

Kengi1982, you do not seem to fully grasp how Wikipedia's notability guidelines work, and you are therefore creating a lot of articles which do not meet them. I suggest you please read WP:N, specifically WP:GNG and WP:NFOOTBALL which are both vital for articles about footballers. If you continue to create non-notable articles then your edits could be interpreted as disruptive and may result in a block. GiantSnowman 15:36, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I note you re-created Ernesto Amantegui as Ernesto Poompa; he remains non-notable. You should not create non-notable articles and you should not re-create ones that have been deleted, especially with a different name to try and avoid detection. This is a final warning. Repost of Ernesto Poompa

[edit]

Information icon A tag has been placed on Ernesto Poompa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. Buriram United F.C. player statistics

[edit]

Hi there KENGI, AL from Portugal here,

when you update the player statistics in the infobox, PLEASE update the date of the last game, it's very easy and makes the box easier to read. For example Carmelo González (footballer) has 14 games and 15 goals as of 23 JUNE 2013, if you want to write 15/15, you have to change the date too.

Thank you, happy weekend - --AL (talk) 14:28, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have to update the PC update, not the NT update (NT update is for national team games and goals). Understand? --AL (talk) 15:18, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Javier Patiño shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. GiantSnowman 15:11, 12 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The club display on the article should be the club he was playing for when the match happened, not the current club. Therefore, the players' clubs for the "Current squad" section should be the club they played for on June 4, 2013, and those on recent call-ups, the clubs should be as per the last call up. Therefore, Patrick Reichelt's club should be the club he played for during the Challenge Cup qualifiers, not the club he just signed up for.

Think of it this way: you are not supposed to change to the current clubs for players listed 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup squads but to the clubs they played for in 2010. –HTD 08:01, 13 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Woranat Thongkruea has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Thailand national football team results (2000–09) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
