Your edits to SZA discography

[edit]

Please provide an explanation for contentious edits that you make in future or they can be reverted. Replacing chart columns on discographies is always a contentious issue and you need to provide reasoning for why. Moreover, you need to make sure that the citations you removed for those charts are not used elsewhere on the article, and if they are, copy the citations you removed to where else they are defined so as not to cause reference errors, as you just did on SZA discography. Thank you. Ss112 22:19, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know! I'll be sure to do so on other articles. KaylenBrown (talk) 18:57, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:YoungBoy Never Broke Again 2023.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:YoungBoy Never Broke Again 2023.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 00:40, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing edits

[edit]

I noticed you edited a couple of articles (here and here) to change the existing track listing style. Per MOS:VAR, MOS:RETAIN, and WP:ALBUMSTYLE, since there is an existing style of a plain list, it should not be unilaterally changed. Can you please explain why you did this and please revert these changes? Thank you. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 20:49, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I edited them because they are more informative. KaylenBrown (talk) 21:41, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please revert your edits to restore the prior style, per the pages I linked above. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:48, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can I ask why before I do so? It looks more professional like this anyway... KaylenBrown (talk) 18:32, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because the existing style is fine and I think it looks much worse. Per MOS:VAR and MOS:RETAIN, existing styles should stay the way that they are. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 01:48, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detectedthat when you recently edited Rolling Stone (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Daily Echo. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 17:49, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced chart positions

[edit]

You have repeatedly added unsourced chart positions to various discographies. Please stop. All information added to Wikipedia needs to be sourced per WP:V, and the chart positions you're adding are not supported by the citations already present. If you cannot be bothered to source your edits, then please don't make them. Next time I see this I will revert your edits outright. Thanks. Ss112 06:33, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
