External links should not be added to the body of an article
[edit]Greetings! I see you've attempted to link some terms in Hens' Teeth using external links. Those links should not be added to the article. Terms can be linked internally to other Wikipedia articles; links to news articles can be added to references; and links to a few external links, typically just the official website for a subject and a few other major resources, can be added to the end of the article. I hope this helps. Any questions, feel free to ask. —C.Fred (talk) 23:34, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
Thanks. However my brain has just burnt out. I don't actually understand what you mean. I've just been trying to link to outside articles so that it's clear this is a real article. Please feel free to make corrections if you know how to do it - otherwise I'll have to wait until i can find a friend to help me next week. Katejs (talk) 23:39, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Scarlet & Gold Poster image.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Scarlet & Gold Poster image.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:54, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
Hi Diannaa and thanks for posting. I uploaded this to use on the "Scarlet & Gold" page but I haven't been able to work out how to put it on that page! Advice appreciated. Katejs (talk) 20:40, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
