Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Momiji Dolls, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Momiji Dolls and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. LeilaniLad (talk) 03:59, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Momiji Dolls for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Momiji Dolls, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Momiji Dolls until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Jezhotwells (talk) 15:32, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia, KatPage! I am Tarastar42 and have been editing Wikipedia for a few months. Thank you so much for your article on Momiji Dolls! I am sorry I had to take out a lot your information in order to conform to Wikipedia guidelines. Since Wikipedia cannot be used for advertising or promotion, we generally avoid product lists or information from shopping catalogs. But I still think Momiji Dolls should not be deleted, so I took the article down to a 'stub', added a picture and a few other embellishments. Let me know what you think! I hope you don't feel like your hard work was wasted in any way... they wouldn't be on here at all if it weren't for you!

I wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page.
