- Thanks for your letter conveying the 'speedy deletion' of my article. I also wish that Wikipedia should be a book of knowledge and reference and not merely a book of tale-telling. You must be having a distinguished panel of linguists and historians. Let them decide on the following matters.
- 1. Antiquity of two sister languages - Sanskrit and Greek. Words and languages are human creations. These two languages have common root of words, forms of grammar and mode of expression. Was it possible before the time of Alexander the Great ?
- 2. Megasthenes, the most celebrated and contemporary of Alexander, clearly admits that Alexander had gone to Maharashtra region and Gangetic plain region. Does it not nullify the theory of Alexander's death at Babylon ?
- 3.Megasthenes does not tell anything about Alexander's death at Babylon though he lived for a long time in India after the presumed death of Alexander.
- 4. Who are different Greek invaders, like Heracles, Dionysus, Bacchus and Alexander. Are these all the names of one single man who is popularly known as Alexander the Great ? Were these all different men , who invaded India , when the name of India was unknown to the Greeks. Alexander and Dionysos- both are described as the son of Zeus and must be contemporaries.
- 5. Has the art of history writing emerged all of a sudden or it has the story of gradual development by trying different methods for preserving historical events.
- 6. Can we find the trace of innumerable towns that Alexander had set up ?
- 7. When Alexander the Great had reached Ganges, why the so called Ashokan pillars, should not be treated as the pillars of Alexander, which precisely match the description given about the pillars of Alexander.
- 8. Why did Alexander return from India when he had started his journey to conquer the world ?
- These and many other factors should be kept in mind while writing about Alexander the Great. Kashi Narain Mishra (talk) 03:06, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

[edit]New Topic.
[edit]Indian invasion of Alexander the Great , has been written largely on the basis of Greek and Roman texts. Indian sources have been fully overlooked. It is the time for getting an insight from Indian sources. The whole Sanskrit literature should be explored in this respect and particularly the Mahabharat. It will make clear the unpredictable decision of Alexander, to return home in a haste. 14:56, 7 April 2024 (UTC)14:56, 7 April 2024 (UTC)14:56, 7 April 2024 (UTC)~ 14:56, 7 April 2024 (UTC)14:56, 7 April 2024 (UTC)~ 14:56, 7 April 2024 (UTC)14:56, 7 April 2024 (UTC) Kashi Narain Mishra (talk) 14:56, 7 April 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:55, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- Most of your content creation has consisted of your own ideas on history. It will never be accepted as an article because Wikipedia is a referenced encyclopedia and all claims have to be supported by reliable, independent secondary sources. This is not an appropriate platform for you to share your original ideas. I recommend getting yourself a blog or website where you can write according to your own whims and are not bound by the many rules and policies of Wikipedia. Thank you. Liz Read!
