Speedy deletion nomination of Centre of Evidence-Based Practice
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Centre of Evidence-Based Practice requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.rodekruis.be/en/who-are-we/research/centre-for-evidence-based-practice/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Blackguard 07:55, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Belgian Red Cross-Flanders Transfusion Research Center requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Centre of Evidence-Based Practice
[edit]Copyright permission has been received, so I have restored the page to Draft:Centre of Evidence-Based Practice where you can work on it. It is not ready for the main encyclopedia: simply copying an organization's own material does not make a satisfactory encyclopedia article, because an encyclopedia is not a place for organizations to tell the world about themselves. Its job is to summarise what reliable sources have said about a subject. I have this conversation so often that I have written User:JohnCD/Not a noticeboard to explain the background.
The most important thing the article needs is references showing substantial coverage from third-party independent reliable sources, not press releases or mere announcements, about the centre, not just about the subjects it is interested in, to establish Wikipedia:Notability. That is, intentionally, a high bar, and many worthy organizations cannot pass it. That is not at all to their discredit, but means that they are not suitable subjects for an encyclopedia.
If you are connected with the centre, please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and the Wikipedia:plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and note that you need to declare your interest. The COI rules apply to all subjects, not just to commercial firms.
There is good advice at WP:your first article. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:17, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
OTRS pending tag
[edit]- Hi Karenwalgraeve, I have commented out an {{OTRS pending}} tag on your talk page. These tags need to be placed on the file page or article talk page (including the talk page of draft articles) - NOT on your talk page. If there is a deleted item for which permission has been submitted to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, you can ask at WP:OTRSN for someone to look for the email and restore the article if they can find it. --B (talk) 01:34, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
