Information icon Hello. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Dravidian peoples without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Don't remove sourced info as you did in these two edits diff diff. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 07:13, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of more than one account or IP address per person. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 10:15, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple accounts

[edit]

Copied from User:117.192.217.229

This IP is using multiple accounts:

End of copied part If you would stick to one IP, soit. But as you said, the IP changes all the time. The text you're referring to is not a policy. WP:Multiple accounts is a policy, just like WP:SOCK. Best regards, Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 06:25, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's not possible to stick to one IP because i don't control how it changes every time, you see. It just happens to change everytime i turn on my laptop or restart it. Kannadiga (talk) 06:40, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Right, so edit only from your account, please, especially if you are going to make contentious edits like the ones mentioned above. MPS1992 (talk) 06:57, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A cup of tea for you!

Time to relax. It's clear that you know a lot; that's valuable. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 10:19, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Editing logged out

[edit]

Hi, Kannadiga. I saw the discussion on Joshua Jonathan's page. Just as I told Pebble here, it's not permitted to log out and edit from dynamic IPs to avoid scrutiny. As I wrote here, it's all right to edit logged out when it's inconvenient or impossible for you to log in. But you need to say it's you ("This is Kannadiga") in the edit summary every time you edit from an IP from now on. If you don't comply with this, I will block both your account and your IP range. Please make transparency and honesty your motto and you won't have any trouble. Bishonen | talk 10:59, 28 March 2016 (UTC).[reply]

Good points

[edit]

You really made some very good points here. Now tell me: you really know a lot, your ideas (well, at least a lot of them) make sense, you're inviting me to read more: why do you need to edit-war, use IP-adresses, and multiple accounts?!? You don't need it! Keep up this kind of editing; it's really good. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 20:12, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I din't edit war? I simply added what was in the source, i understand i need to add link to the additional new page. I do not own multipal accounts, I barely use this one. I always edit logged out because it's easier to edit that way unless the page requires me to long in. I will keep using this account to edit if it's such a big issue. Kannadiga (talk) 21:00, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine. Keep up the good work; you've got a lot to offer, I'm sure. NB: I guess you're young; try to find some side-job in education; teaching others, or lecturing, will help you immensely in formulating your ideas and presenting them to others. As they say in Dutch: "Gelijk hebben is niet hetzelfde als gelijk krijgen." Which means something like: "Being right is not the same as being acknowledged to be right." It also takes explanatory and social skills. All the best, Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 04:59, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your advice, I'm glad i was of some help regarding editing of that page. Kannadiga (talk) 01:46, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kannadiga117

[edit]

Hallo. I've taken the liberty to decorate your new userpage, and move the IP-links to a hidden bar. You know, you could switch again, to Kannadiga117 ;) Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 04:55, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, looks good. I might change username sometime but maybe not to that. ;) Kannadiga (talk) 01:46, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
