Welcome to the Wikipedia!

[edit]

Welcome to the Wikipedia, Kalexander! And thanks very much for the help on the Mind control article. Hope you enjoy editing here and becoming a Wikipedian! Here are a few perfunctory tips to hasten your acculturation into the Wikipedia experience:

Some odds and ends: Boilerplate text, Brilliant prose, Cite your sources, Civility, Conflict resolution, How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Pages needing attention, Peer review, Policy Library, Utilities, Verifiability, Village pump, Wikiquette, and you can sign your name on any page by typing 4 tildes: ~~~~.

Best of luck, Kalexander, and have fun! Ombudsman 18:38, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Giant squid

[edit]
  • Hodgkin and Huxley performed experiments on the giant axon of the Atlantic squid Loligo pealei, here is a link to their classic paper [[1]] and to some information about the species from the MBL [[2]]. The "giant squid" is truly a giant, and is a species that has rarely been seen [[3]]. Cheers and happy holidays! Nrets 19:50, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated Conceptual Model Theory of Human Understanding, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Conceptual Model Theory of Human Understanding and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. AfD nomination of Conceptual Model Theory

[edit]

I have nominated Conceptual Model Theory, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Conceptual Model Theory. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Information icon Hello, I'm MrOllie. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Heinrich Himmler. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. FozzieHey (talk) 20:07, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Angelina Jordan, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Dakota and Million Miles. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:14, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
