References
[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note.
Thanks for the additions at tic, but please remember that all content added to Wikipedia should be sourced, and medical content added should have sourcing that complies with WP:MEDRS. I would really like to keep your distinction between tics and fasciculations, but cannot locate a reliable source for it. Best regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 00:37, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
SandyGeorgia, I'll try to locate a published source (other than myself). But I note that the previous, incorrect, assertion was unsourced, as well. KJBinSTL (talk) 04:29, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, that is often a problem. Per COI, it is OK for us to "source yourself" if you suggest the source on talk and let a non-COI editor review it and add in the text. Or you could provide a source here on your talk, and I could review and add it in. Ideally, we should have a secondary review rather than a primary study, but for such an uncontroversial statement, I am not too worried about having a secondary review. Thanks for your help!
