The Georgetown Chimes moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, The Georgetown Chimes, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:02, 26 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In reviewing your edits to the Stewards Society page, I cannot seem to find where in the sources, this claim is properly supported:

  • "A version of what the Stewards Society would become was first organized by students in the early 1800s as a component of Georgetown University's first student organization, a religious devotional society known as the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The latter existed until 1970. In the late 1800s, alumnus John Agar, from Georgetown College's class of 1876, organized Steward alumni to buttress Georgetown University's precarious economic situation. As a result, soon after Georgetown's iconic Healy Hall was completed, its Alumni Association was founded, and an independent Board of Regents took on fund raising."

Can you please provide further details on where this info is located, I will having to cut it otherwise since I can't verify it's accuracy and I am currently preparing this article for WP:GA. 🏵️Etrius ( Us) 23:18, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
