That isn't necessary

The reason why folk know your first name is that they have worked with you before. I was rather heavily focused on the bed behavior from one of the other users to note that the editor referring to John was indeed referring to a post you had made. Had I not had a bug up my ass about the other contributor, I'd have seen that. It was time for a change anyway.

I was flying across the country today and read less of my book on the plane than I see has been written on this topic. Sleep has priority.

Since you brought it up, may I respectfully suggest that you work on "bug spray" to keep people from annoying you and visa-versa. There are many opportunities to annoy people here without meaning to (and to be annoyed by people that don't mean to annoy you). Most people here are helpful and - often - the annoyances spring out of misunderstanding combined with disagreement. If you work on avoiding annoying people and (harder!) avoid being annoyed by others, you will last here much longer without burning out. Take a step back occasionally - especially when you find yourself the only one arguing your side. . .
