Information icon Hello, I'm Engineerchange. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, John E. Mason, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Engineerchange (talk) 15:12, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Huey, Dewey, and Louie. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason.

"Non-free" images

[edit]

Hi there: I see that you're trying to add pictures to Disney comics articles, as you did on Bucky Bug, Magica De Spell and Gyro Gearloose. Unfortunately, you've been posting them on Commons, and the folks there are sticklers about copyright violations. That's why those three images have been deleted. If you want to upload a comics image, you have to do it on Wikipedia itself, and you have to fill out a form that explains why it's appropriate fair use. You can see examples here: File:Mickey mouse magazine 01.jpg and File:Mickey mouse the moose hunt.jpg. You can check out WP:NONFREE for info on how to upload non-free images. Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Abraham Lincoln, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Departure– (talk) 18:47, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I did not edit this, it was someone else using my account. JustinMcDuck (talk) 14:12, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Someone used my account to add images, I believe someone used this on a public computer. JustinMcDuck (talk) 14:11, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
