Daily Mail reference at Shark Tank (Australian season 4)
[edit]Hi. Please do not use the Daily Mail as you did at Shark Tank (Australian season 4). It is not a reliable source. See WP:DAILYMAIL. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 11:49, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- Robby.is.on Can you recommend to me which site in Australia is reliable? For example, is https://www.mamamia.com.au/, http://smartcompany.au/, https://www.news.com.au/, ... or all of the pitch's websites are reliable to be cited? I am just a student all the way from South East Asia and I am still new to Wikipedia editing, but I just want to make the page the most reliable detail possible without unintentionally spamming due to pitch's products and its websites. Also, I have just added a Youtube citing video on the section of Episode 1, the "Coconut Bowls" pitch. Could you or someone else please check if it is in format? Thank you--JustBill2004 (talk) 14:17, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hi! I'm not very familiar with Australian media. mamamia.com.au looks like an entertainment website, I wouldn't rate it too highly. smartcompany.au doesn't load for me. I have come across references to news.com.au, should be okay.
- Here's some pages with general advice:
- WP:RS has some information on identifying reliable sources.
- WP:RSP, where WP:DAILYMAIL is also listed, is "a non-exhaustive list of sources whose reliability and use on Wikipedia are frequently discussed".
- Wikipedia:Video links covers citing video such as those found on Youtube.
I just want to make the page the most reliable detail possible without unintentionally spamming due to pitch's products and its websites
That's a good attitude!- Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 14:34, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
Other websites references to Shark Tank Australia
[edit]I am just adding some citations website from Australia in Shark Tank Australian Season 3, and I am considering adding The Daily Telegraph (Sydney), The Courier-Mail, The Herald Sun, The Sydney Morning Herald & The West Australian. Can anyone confirms they are reliable to be added to Wikipedia? Thanks! --JustBill2004 (talk) 17:41, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
