[edit]Hello, I'm RexxS. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Underwater photography have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Hello, I'm RexxS. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Scuba diving have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hi Jun V Lao, Two things. Firstly, do not add inline links to your website, (or anyone else's website, for that matter), they will be reverted as spamming and you may get blocked. Secondly, when adding an image to an article, it is more likely to be appreciated if you add it to a relevant section, where it adds value for the user, by illustrating something mentioned in the text. If you just have a bunch of pretty photos you have uploaded to Commons, and would like them to be used, put them on the talk pages of articles where they may be useful, and if an editor knows of a place they will be useful they will probably be used. As a general rule we only illustrate textual content, so a photo unrelated to article text is not useful and will probably be removed unless someone is inspired to add text to justify the use of the photo, which is less likely to happen, as most patrolling is done by people who do not have the knowledge, time or inclination to creatively use someone else's image stuck randomly on a page. Wikipedia may be the encyclopedia that anyone can edit, but the edits will only be allowed to stay if they are constructive and follow the rules. No worries, thank you apologies for the information
