Please help me with...making my first article look presentable. I wrote my first article on my grandfather Billy Christmas who is presently being considered for Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. (Yes, this is a very big deal.) Though this is my initial article, I am pleased with the text. I now need help with formatting images and and my table. The table's contents are fine, but the position of the table at the top of the text is dreadful. I also have two images of my grandfather which I would like to put into the article as thumbnails. The first image of him in a lacrosse uniform for the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association (circa 1898) and the second is of him with my grandmother Hattie Christmas and their baby daughter Doris (1904). Could you help me with my table and the images? Thank you.

- First of all, I moved the draft to Draft:Billy Christmas. I'll give it a once over in the next couple of minutes. :) ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 09:48, 29 November 2014 (UTC)
- Alright, I cleaned up the formatting and the infobox. Two things: first, for the images, wait until the article is approved and "live". It might take some time until a reviewer gets to it, but don't despair, and keep working on it. Secondly, it is written in an overtly non-neutral tone; the article isn't meant to "promote" Billy Christmas nor to rave about his accomplishment, it is supposed to be factual. Sentences like
Billy soon found his alter ego on the Winged Wheels hockey team: the smooth-skating, fast-thinking forward Charlie Liffiton. Working in tandem, these two young rockets quickly proved to be a potent force.
make it sound like you're his grandson writing an article in a local journal, promoting Billy's life; that's unfortunately not how Wikipedia works. It places you in a strong conflict of interest, and I really recommend you click on the link I just added and read all of it. Another link you absolutely need to read to ensure the article is built properly: how to word an article neutrally. But what you have a good start, so keep at it! ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 10:23, 29 November 2014 (UTC)

- Sam Sailor - Billy Christmas appears to exceed the minimum notability requirements of WP:NSPORTS by, amongst other things, having played in the top-level Hockey league (CAHL, forerunner of the current-day NHL), which means he "
played one or more games in an amateur league considered, through lack of a professional league, the highest level of competition extant
". ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 04:52, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying that, Salvidrim!, I understand it by reading about Montreal Hockey Club, but it ought to be made more clear with a better intro. As the draft stands, it reads like something from a genealogy site. -- Sam Sing! 10:20, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
