[edit]You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.
If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

[edit]Juan Glassford Photography (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
The user below has a request that an edit be made to this article for which that user has an actual or apparent conflict of interest. The requested edits backlog is low. There are currently 11 requests waiting for review. ---- Please read the instructions for the parameters used by this template for accepting and declining them, and review the request below and make the edit if it is well sourced, neutral, and follows other Wikipedia guidelines and policies. |
Decline reason:
You are blocked because of your username. With that name, no one will unblock you. If you put in a request to change that username, someone might. The draft isn't even that problematic; it's plenty promotional but I've seen worse. However, it will never be accepted in mainspace until a. its promotional language is toned down and b. there are secondary sources that verify the information and its importance. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Hi Juan Glassford Photography,
Thank you very much for the detailed clarification, and for the unblock request. However, you are not required to appeal this block at all. Because it is purely about your promotional username, you are allowed to create a new account at Special:CreateAccount. When logged in with the new account, please create your user page (click the following link AFTER logging into the new account: Special:MyPage) with a short text like "I am the subject of the article Draft:Juan Glassford and have previously edited as 'Juan Glassford Photography'." If you believe that you meet Wikipedia's notability criteria (short summary: WP:42), you are allowed to continue editing Draft:Juan Glassford, and re-submit it for review if you have fixed the problems. By doing so, you do already correctly propose edits. Only if the draft is actually accepted, and the draft becomes a real article, we expect you to suggest any further edits on the talk page of the article. Until then, editing the draft is perfectly fine.
Best regards,
