Hello Joy Goel thanks for your contributions in the List of Tallest buildings in Mumbai.

About your recent edit. Are you sure about the century Textile mills Tower being 223 meters. As there is only one building currently in the compound and this is not a skyscraper. Many times and almost most if the times the sites like Emporis, CTUBH have wrong data of skyscrapers located in Mumbai and india.

ArvindPalaskar (talk) 05:18, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ArvindPalaskar, I'm not quite sure about the century mills tower in Worli, Mumbai. It's listed on ctbuh as complete at 222m and 51 floors. I don't actually live in Mumbai so I would not have a clue about that, I live in Kolkata. Joy goel (talk) 07:19, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your contributions. I will take out the Century Tower as the building metioned is barely 100 meters.

Here the link to the image.

https://www.birlaestates.com/projects/commercial-buildings/birla-centurion

And Can't trust the CTUBH and Emporos in India.

Heres a case.

In the Emporis data they entered that the W 54 is 36 floors building and a height of 131.75 meters.

https://www.emporis.com/buildings/1232275/w54-tower-mumbai-india

And here the actual photographs with 41 floors and clears a Skyscraper with height of meters 150 meters plus.

The link to the Photograph.

And hope you contribute further.

ArvindPalaskar (talk) 15:42, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the insights and the information will surely keep it in mind while editing in the near future. Joy goel (talk) 15:59, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Per capita income of Kandivali

[edit]

Hey joel. Would you have any idea about what will be the per capita income of Kandivali region in Mumbai? 27.106.11.185 (talk) 02:14, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, And thanks for your post. As per source the per capita gdp (ppp) of the whole of Mumbai is around US$ 23,000, so i would think that Kandivali being quite an affluent suburb would have a per capita in the range of 20,000 - 25,000 US $, this is just an estimation. Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Mumbai into Economy of Mumbai. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 20:35, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the post Sir, will keep this in mind for future edits, just one question do I have to give attribution in an edit summary now that the edit is already done or is this in regards to future edits where copying is involved. Joy goel (talk) 21:55, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed it for you this time, in this diff. Please keep it in mind for the future. Have you copied content within Wikipedia before today? DanCherek (talk) 00:00, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No Sir I haven't copied content in Wikipedia before today, this was my first attempt. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused will definitely keep what you said in mind for future edits. Joy goel (talk) 06:13, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Skyline image of Bangalore

[edit]

The image that you changed doesn't show the entire skyline as UB City is concentrated towards the left, so I have undid your revision- 25Aric 25Aric (talk) 07:55, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@25Aric I'm changing the image for Bangalore at List of tallest buildings in different cities in India, to be honest with you I don't really like that night-time skyline image you have added to all Bangalore related lists as firstly that image is a bit too much on the darkish side the buildings aren't clearly visible, secondly the buildings look short as it is an aerial view of the area. Please discuss here before reverting. Joy goel (talk) 08:46, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the image you are changing is even more unclearer, it's better that you obtain a better image for the skyline since this image best shows the Central Business District. Plus, the photo you are changing to is outdated so I am undoing the changes made by you 25Aric (talk) 15:08, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can check for an image which includes Kingfisher Tower (Vijay Mallya's residence) in both the day and night images and upload it to commons since UB City looks pretty isloated and they aren't the only towers present in the area. 25Aric (talk) 15:15, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have added the image of skyline (updated), request you to convert into an appropriate sized picture 25Aric (talk) 03:08, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mumbai

[edit]

Indian settlement are supposed to follow WP:INCITIES guidelines as far as arrangements of sections are concerned. Perhaps you need to see this, instead of Londons, New Yorks. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 19:43, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Fylindfotberserk thanks for bringing this to my attention I didn't know about this I was just editing based on what Chronus had said in his edit summary. Joy goel (talk) 19:54, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I believe this has already been resolved with my latest edits. Chronus (talk) 20:02, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

UB Tower

[edit]

I find the presence of its image unnecessary. If you have ever visited that area, now about 5 buildings appear taller than it. Plus, there are multiple images already present, so we don't need more. It's better to keep the image of:- 1. Mantri DSK Pinnacle- Tallest Completed Building. 2. CNTC Presidential Tower- The tallest Building that has reached its maximum height. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ASGoji (talkcontribs) 13:55, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

PLease discuss with me before making any further changes. ASGoji (talk) 14:05, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@ASGoji Although i do agree with you but i would still like an image of UB tower in the lede. Because firstly, UB tower has a very futuristic design there are few buildings in Bangalore that have a modern design with a spire. Mantri Pinnicle and Presidential tower are both very similar as they both are residential. Would you agree if i replace either the night or day image of UB city with the image of UB tower? Or even the yashwantpur skyline with UB tower. Please do take this request into consideration as i been editing that page for close to 3 years now and there has always been a UB tower image there in the Lede. Joy goel (talk) 14:45, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Joy goelWell if you want the image of UB Tower, it's already present in 2 skyline images. In fact in those two skyline images, we can see more futuristic buildings. So we still have UB Tower on the page, so there isn't any need to add a 3rd one out there. ASGoji (talk) 05:39, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and thanks for the post. I've roughly gone through your work and its quite a well written Article, however I'm not quite sure that it would satisfy all the criteria of our notability policy please read WP:Notability for more, also there are many referencing errors and mistakes in your work see tutorial on citing sources for more, also some of the sources cited may not satisfy WP:RS.
