I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 19:07, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

Great. In your next unblock request, please say what sort of constructive contribution you want to make. Please give an actual example of a constructive edit. PhilKnight (talk) 19:28, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

This does not do as PhilKnight requested, and I don't even understand what you mean. Phil asked for an actual example of an edit you wish to make. 331dot (talk) 20:09, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

I would also add that this is fourth declined request in less than 24 hours. Good faith notwithstanding, if there is another one like this in the near future talk-page access revocation should seriously be considered. — Daniel Case (talk) 10:17, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

- @Star Mississippi:. I think this editor is acting in good faith and just doesn't get some of our policies. Would it be possible for me to try and teach them the basics of editing and give them a second chance? Professor Penguino (talk) 03:26, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- I am not inclined to unblock at this stage, but if another admin does, you're more than welcome to ty @Professor Penguino Star Mississippi 03:36, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- I definitely think the block should stay for a bit, maybe I could send them some helpful links in the meantime? Regards, Professor Penguino (talk) 03:41, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

Some helpful links and reading
[edit]Hello, Joshuapark693. I see that you have been blocked for your recent edits. If you want to be unblocked, I highly recommend doing some catching up with Wikipedia's rules. You can check out WP:Getting started to get some tips on editing.
You can check out our so-called "five pillars", which are our five most important rules. Remember to always be civil discussing with editors -- but you probably shouldn't have a problem with that. :)
When creating content for articles, always remember that Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information. Editors need to be careful not to insert their own opinions into articles and keep them fair and balanced, or as "no point-of-view" as possible. Objectivity is key.
When creating articles, and just adding content in general, remember that topics must fit the guidelines listed at WP:Notability. Check out WP:What Wikipedia is not for more info. Promotional content or ad-like content is also strongly discouraged.
You can read our manual of style for more information on formatting, dates, grammar, etc.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me!

I don't really think we're going to make any progress here. Once you're older and can follow the instructions you're given, make an unblock request via WP:UTRS. However, you'll have to read through the entirety of Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks and Wikipedia:Appealing a block. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 17:15, 4 February 2024 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
