[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:56, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, we appreciate your edits, but please try not to make test edits like this one to articles. If you'd like to experiment with editing, you can mess around in The Sandbox. If you plan on making more edits to articles, please read WP:Introduction, and be sure to use proper grammar and spelling. Thank you. -RunningOnBrains(talk) 01:19, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Re: CRATE STORY
[edit]Re your message: I am not sure what you are asking. Wikipedia is not for publishing creative stories that you have written. If you wish to create a new article on Wikipedia, I recommend that you review the guideline on writing your first article. I also recommend reviewing the help document on how to contribute to Wikipedia. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 01:48, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- Re your message: If you are asking what you can do to contribute to Wikipedia, then I recommend that you review the link I provided you in my previous message. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 02:05, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Tornadoes of the midwest (and a few other notes)
[edit]I will likely not make a list of Midwest tornadoes, as such a list would be incredibly long. For now I have been concentrating on areas with few tornadoes each year; lists for places such as the Midwest states will likely have to be restrictive in my criteria, e.g. listing only significant tornadoes (EF2 or greater damage).
Second, when making edits to articles, please use the "Preview" button instead of immediately hitting "Save". For instance, this edit that you made was incredibly poorly formatted, and broke a few links; I really have no idea what you were trying to do. Using the "Preview" button shows you what your edit will look like, and allows you to correct any mistakes before saving your changes.
Finally, please do not post messages on people's User Page (Mine is User:Runningonbrains), instead, post on their User Talk Page (Mine is User talk:Runningonbrains). Thank you. RunningOnBrains(talk) 23:59, 31 May 2012 (UTC) it wont let me

- It's very unwise to give personal details like phone numbers on the Internet. If you are a young user, please read Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors, especially the section headed "Your safety and security". JohnCD (talk) 08:45, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Edits to Kentucky Dam
[edit]I'm sorry, but until you learn to write in proper style, spelling and grammar (or at least something resembling it), I'm going to have to ask you to stop editing pages; your contributions are very unhelpful. I suspect that you are either a non-native speaker of English (in which case, I invite you to contribute in your native tongue) or far too young to be editing. If you'd like practice feel free to edit your own user page, you can even create subpages like User:Joshmel/Sandbox. For an introduction to editing here, as I mentioned above, see WP:Introduction and the different articles linked there. And of course, let me know if you have any questions. -RunningOnBrains(talk) 02:11, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
- You are welcome. Perhaps you are a young editor of Wikipedia? Please feel free to ask for help in editing. Edison (talk) 04:39, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Editing List of dates predicted for apocalyptic events
[edit]Hello Joshmel. Can I just add my voice in welcoming you to Wikipedia. Feel free to play around in the sandbox, and remember to be bold. Any constructive edit is welcome, unconstructive edits will be fixed. But before making any changes it's a good idea to make sure you read through the introduction, especially the manual of style. Also, if you have problems with spelling or grammar, it's a good idea to run your prospective edits through a word processor. And remember to have fun. Andrewaskew (talk) 06:08, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
