S0091 (talk) 18:46, 10 July 2022 (UTC)COI? and other
[edit]Hi Jonathan, based on the note on your User page, it seems you are unclear if you have a COI. If unsure, you can post a note at the COI noticeboard giving a brief summary of the circumstances, being careful not to reveal any private or identifiable information, and other editors can provide guidance. On a separate note, you may find WikiProject Mathematics helpful. I will leave you some additional information about editing Wikipedia. S0091 (talk) 18:55, 10 July 2022 (UTC)
- Oh wait, I see now that I looked at your sandbox. See WP:SELFCITE. I think simply posting a note on your User page that you are an author of publications about such-and such subject(s) is sufficient. Also, if you cite one of your publications, note that you have a COI in the edit summary. The key is being transparent, not spamming and not giving your work WP:UNDUE influence on an article. Also see WP:Expert editors. S0091 (talk) 19:07, 10 July 2022 (UTC)
