Thank you for your feedback. This is my first Wikipedia entry and I am a little "green". I include multiple books and quotes below with references to Bob Goyetche's contribution to the history of podcasting having started in 2004 when the medium began, but more importantly, his dedication and contribution to supporting the Canadian podcasting and international podcasting communities by co-founding and co-hosting the late Podcasters Across Borders (PAB) Conference for multiple years from 2006.
Will the following help get the article approved? If not, what more should I include please? Thank you for your help.
“Conference veteran Bob Goyetche points out, "As conference planning becomes easier, there's a whole movement of community-driven events (the *-camps, some *-fests, etc.) that feature very engaged participants not led by a vendor or platform. The possible returns of speaking at such events can be handsome as well.” - Croll, A. (2013). “In the podcasting world, I need to thank (in no particular order) Phil Torrone, Swoopy, Evo Terra, Richard Lucic, Jason Litchford, Sharon Housley, Eric Boyer, Chris McIntyre, Brandon Fuller, Bob Goyetche, August Trometer, Aaron Price, Ben Williams, Greg Kaufman, Tod Maffin, Chris Breen, Greg Pool, Michael Mennenga, Elizabeth Tracey, and Dr. Rick Lange, M.D. I'd like to single out Steve Mirsky for putting up with the fact that I made a rookie mistake when recording our conversation, which forced us to cover the interview twice. I'll never live it down.” Farkas, B. G. (2006). Secrets of Podcasting, Second Edition: Audio Blogging for the Masses. United Kingdom: Pearson Education.
“The Canadian Podcast Buffet was created by Bob Goyetche and Mark as the first community specifically to promote and support Canadian podcasters and their shows. It had a built-in audience of podcast creators and, as Mark and Bob learned when they loosened the format and had some fun by incorporating interviews and guest hosts, a podcast-listening public. Over time, their audience grew well beyond Canada even though the show was Canadian-centric.” Maffin, T., Blevis, M. (2014). Touch: Five Factors to Growing and Leading a Human Organization. Canada: Dundurn Press.
“Bob Goyetche was a Canadian podcasting pioneer who 'co-organized the grassroots Podcasters Across Borders conference, and an early podcasting network’.” [Internet] http://www.cbc.ca/radio/spark/335-the-lonely-generation-and-more-1.3853837/tribute-to-podcasting-pioneer-bob-goyetche-1.3857832

“When you organize the meet-up (or conference in the case of PAB), you become the connector. You're the person providing true value to your attendees and sponsors (when applicable). Bob Goyetche, Mark Blevis, Cathy Bobkowicz, and Andrea Ross did this by giving podcasters a place to congregate, share ideas, and learn from one another at PAB. I will be eternally grateful for their hard work and dedication to PAB. Follow your passions and consider creating an original event or conference. Even a small meet-up is worthwhile if you're bringing people together and acting as a connector.
I can speak firsthand of the warm feeling I experience when I see people meeting for the first time or old friends and colleagues reconnecting at my monthly networking events. If you choose to start your own event, I would love to hear about it. Be sure to visit new-networking.com and share your event and the story behind it with the group.” - Delaney, D. (2013). “Podcasters Across Borders is an annual conference held in Kingston, Ontario. Organized by Mark Blevis and Bob Goyetche of the Canadian Podcast Buffet, along with Cat Goyetche, host of The Cat Fish Show, this three-day conference brings together podcasters from across Canada and the northeastern United States. What makes Podcasters Across Borders unique compared to other conferences is that: There are no exhibitors. Attendees are mainly hobbyists. There is only one track of sessions. Sessions focus more on how to create great content and not how to profit from it. Speakers lead sessions, but are more like facilitators guiding the discussion, rather than presenters. The cost to attend the three-day event is $100 and at its first conference in 2006, Podcasters Across Borders attracted over 80 attendees.” Barnes, L. (2007). Podcasting for Profit. United States: Maximum Press.
“Bob Goyetche, of "The Bob and AJ Show" fame, says that when it comes to playing music in his show, the team ultimately looked at two alternatives:… “ “In the podcasting world, I need to thank (in no particular order) Phil Torrone, Swoopy, Evo Terra, Richard Lucic, Jason Litchford, Sharon Housley, Eric Boyer, Chris Mcintyre, Brandon Fuller, Bob Goyetche, August Trometer. Aaron Price. Ben Williams. Greg Kaufman. Tod...” Farkas, B. (2006). Secrets of Podcasting: Audio Blogging for the Masses. United Kingdom: Peachpit.
