[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Matthew Holness, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. [edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Matthew Holness. Meticulo (talk) 01:42, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
hi there, my changes didn't fosrupt the Matthew holness article in the slightest Johnathan 2001 (talk) 01:46, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- disrupt Johnathan 2001 (talk) 01:46, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- I disagree. I think your edits, and a misleading edit summary, can easily be seen as disruptive according to the definition of the term at WP:DISRUPT. Meticulo (talk) 13:08, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
how exactly can my edit summary be described as misleading? I made the edit in an attempt to improve cohesion, and judging by how often you have to change the wording from plus to and, I'd say the majority of users of this page agree with me. if anything, you're the one disrupting the article by changing the wording to one the community clearly doesn't agree with. [edit]Hi Johnathan 2001! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at University of Derby that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. hi there, the edits I made are very easily verified and cannot be disputed Johnathan 2001 (talk) 18:41, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
Greater Manchester
[edit]Hi, I had to undo your edit on the Greater Manchester article because you (probably unintentionally) set the article back to how it was in June 2022. Kind regards, Espandero (talk) 18:26, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
whoops, yes I didn't mean to do that, thanks for fixing it. I'll redo the edit I meant to make on the correct version of the page. thanks! Johnathan 2001 (talk) 18:28, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
