I am new from Wikipedia and wrote an article named Extended Galerkin method

Dear John,

My name is Qingguo Hong. I wrote an article named Extended Galerkin method to publish on the wikipedia. And then I was invited to the Teahouse. DO I need to modify the article a lot?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Thank you very much in advance.

I have no idea what you are talking about. John from Idegon (talk) 17:14, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
It seems likely that they are talking about Draft:Extended Galerkin Method or maybe User:QingguoHong/sandbox. It further seems likely that they are talking about it here because some machinery left a link to this talkpage on their talk page. @QingguoHong: you might also try asking for feedback at WT:MATH or at the Teahouse. Ah, thanks. QingguoHong, the invitation left on your talk page was to go to WP:TEA to ask questions, not here. I'm one of the Teahouse hosts, but I know very little about math. It took me 3 tries to pass intro to calculus. MPS1992's advice is solid. You may wish to ask at the Teahouse about structural issues with your draft, but if your questions involve the subject of the draft, its probably better to ask at the Math project. New editor

Hi John,

Can you elaborate on reverting User:W lemay at Richmond High School (Richmond, Indiana)? I am helping him as a new editor. As you likely know, editor retention is low, especially for nervous, beginning users. I am hopeful that they will stay on board, seeing as they've contributed tens of thousands of great photos of historic sites all in CC0. Please, I ask caution and restraint with this newcomer's edits, and perhaps to use the talk page rather than reverting for now. Thanks and best - ɱ (talk) 19:11, 7 September 2019 (UTC)

Civility

Stop icon STOP SPAMMING MY TALK PAGE WITH THREATS AND HARASSMENT PLEASE. This is in regards to an attack you made on my talk page recently, backed up with threats and harassment. Sorry I don't know who you are, what your issue is with me or why you threatened me other than to cover up some previous incidents of harassment against me by your friend "Meters". Your threats are entirely uncalled, baseless, slanderous fabrications made up by you to defend aggressive behavior by your friend. This is a friendly warning to stop immediately. I sincerely hope this does not get followed up by you and Meters to start bullying Wikipedia editors with gang-like behaviorXoltron (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:13, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

John from Idego, I am not sure who you are or why you keep attacking my talk page with repeated acts of harassment even after receiving a request from me to stop. Is it possible you have me mixed up with someone else?Xoltron (talk)

They have been pellucid about their connection. Their editing has been confined, conservative, and open. Not hardly promotional, IMO. 7&6=thirteen () 20:58, 13 September 2019 (UTC)

With respect to our previous discussions concerning this page. Jeffe_Kennedy's page now identifies her as a graduate of Overland, as does her FaceBook profile. This seems to address your previous concerns, and also comply with policy - Wikipedia:Verifiability#Self-published_and_questionable_sources_as_sources_on_themselves. I intend to add her to the notable alumni section sometime this week. JeffBerry (talk) 07:18, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Re: Homestead High School (Wisconsin)

The proper title for a member of the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature is indeed State Representative. See their web site: https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/2019/legislators/assembly. -- Dolotta (talk) 13:03, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi John. Would either you, Meters or maybe even Kudpung might taking a look at this article? I did some rudimentary clean up, but it probably needs a bit more. There also may be some COI/UPE editing cleanup needed; one account can be verified per this user talk page post, but there might be others. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:47, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

I have cut out a lot of promo. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:16, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
Thank you Kudpung. — Marchjuly (talk) 12:07, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

John from Idegon How do i blank it out. Sorry for being such a bad rookie... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ballroad (talkcontribs) 20:57, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

Ballroad, open the draft in edit mode, press CONTROL-A then delete. John from Idegon (talk) 21:21, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
I think that might only work on computer platforms that support that particular convention -- mobile phones, tablets and many others not included. MPS1992 (talk) 21:39, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
Backspacing it all away would work on any platform i suppose. John from Idegon (talk) 22:16, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
The Backspace key is missing from many devices, both historical -- remember the Delete key? -- and modern. MPS1992 (talk) 22:32, 18 September 2019 (UTC)

What was your intent in reverting my recent edit? I only reformatted some text. Did you mean to remove the text completely? —Eyer (If you reply, add {{reply to|Eyer}} to your message to let me know.) 22:32, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
