Speedy deletion of Some page

[edit]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Anonlta (talk) 16:19, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Student project

[edit]

Hi. If you are running a student project, please read:

There have been some excellent and productive projects, but there have also been some which were frustrating and disappointing for the participants and caused a great deal of clean-up work for other Wikipedians. The advice in those two articles is based on hard-won experience, and is essential reading before your project gets under way. I apologise if you are already familiar with them; one of Wikipedia's problems is that there is no lack of advice and guidance available, but it can be difficult to find the bits you need. A tag has been placed on Homework for Monday, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

hi!

[edit]

Hi Joe,

It looks like you're running a classroom project. That's great; as the message above noted, there are lots of Wikipedians who can help out.

First off, it looks like some of your pages are getting deleted -- please be sure to put class related pages in your userspace, so that won't happen.

Second, can you please list your project and and this page at the School and University Projects page? That will help us keep a record of the university projects that have gone on, and let other editors know that these pages are student projects.

Thanks! Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions. -- phoebe / (talk to me) 07:23, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please review for copypaste

[edit]

Hello. I had a concern that one of your students may have copied and pasted some work. Could you please verify that there is no copyright violation in this Turkish hamster project and post on the talk page? Thanks. Blue Rasberry (talk) 07:10, 23 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
