Hi,

You declined my article for lack of notability, but I included a national newspaper article on the author, a recording of an interview on an international radio station, newspaper coverage of a book trailer that was made and won an international award, and also linked to the trailer itself. Also I linked to the author's Twitter page that has around 40000 followers and to Goodreads where the books have been rated over 15000 times, as well as some reader compiled lists where the books have been voted on thousands of times as well.

Granted this isn't Steven King but there are a lot of other author pages on Wikipedia with a awful lot less notability than I have been able to find for this one.

I did decline it, perhaps I missed something in the inline external links, let's go through the draft as it is now, and see what we have.

A word on how you've linked sources -- sources which are being used to verify facts and establish notability should be handled using references. The easiest way to start learning how to make references on Wikipedia is to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, which includes a nice video showing how to use the RefToolbar, which makes working with references a whole lot easier. The way you've linked thinks, bracket-URL-bracket, should almost entirely be reserved for an external links section at the bottom of the article and should in most articles never occur in the text. That wasn't why I declined it, but it will help the next reviewer, when you resubmit this, make sense of what they're looking at.

Anyway, going through the links in order (and I may have missed one, but I think you'll be able to follow along)....

1. Goodreads link -- please remove, not a WP:RS
2. Magnetic Print and design company - just a link to a broken web site for a company he allegedly works for. Doesn't verify anything. Remove per WP:ELNO
3. The Mirror - there is precedent for suggesting that the Mirror is an unacceptable source for serious allegations about living people, which would apply in this case. Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_160#Huffington_Post.2FDaily_Mirror is one such precedent. But this is closer to the point, yes.
4. Twitter - remove Please see WP:External links/Perennial websites for more information on why social media sites, IMDB, YouTube and/or Find-a-Grave are not generally considered reliable secondary sources.

The Mirror isn't that clean-cut a case, by the way. The MIrror had been a book review I probably wouldn't have blinked about saying it applied toward notability, but given how it's been used, well, we try and be very careful when saying someone has been in prison.

All my comments above aside, Ronald may very well meet our notability guideline! The article doesn't quite show it yet, but that doesn't mean that there aren't more appropriate sources which would get this over the bar.

That most of the article is sourced to unreliable sources--the vast majority--is going to be a major impediment forward the article being accepted in its current state, by any reviewer. I would first look for more in the way of solid coverage in newspapers and magazines, and then trim 90% of what's written that isn't covered in those. Why was my articled declined?

Hi Tom,

If you look at the draft article, Draft:Snelleman Tom, the reason the article was declined is in the pink box at the top.

If that discussion doesn't make sense (and I realize our policies can be confusing), I'd start by reading WP:Your first article to get an understanding of what we need from an article in order to accept it, particularly the Gathering references section. All articles on Wikipedia, but most particularly biographies, need to contain references to in-depth coverage in reliable, independent, third-party coverage, and have that coverage back up what the article says. These would typically be references to newspaper articles, magazine articles, and/or book sections, but not interviews or press releases. I hope this helps! This is in regards to User:Espera az/sandbox, which was more or less adapted from [ http://zafacademy.org/zaf-trust.html ].

While you may be, or may be associated with, the copyright holder of the work which appears to match the text you have submitted, I certainly take your word for it personally, it is usually the case that such material (particularly any autobiographical material) is often unsuitable for Wikipedia. The goals of such writing are different, self-written biographies or descriptions aim to put the subject in a positive and sometimes glowing light, whereas our encyclopedia aspires to neutral, balanced, dry and objective summaries. And "we" in a Wikipedia article is Wikipedia, not your organization.

If you still believe you would like to donate a license to the copyrighted text, your next step is to read WP:Donating copyrighted materials, that page explains how to proceed, and a few important things you will have to understand before you do. But given how promotional the text was, I believe you would be better off taking a different path.

1. If you are writing about your own enterprise, it can be quite difficult to write a proper encyclopedia article--and in fact, our policies go out of their way to suggest that you do not try. Please read and understand WP:PSCOI.
2. One of the basic bars an article like this is going to have to meet is notability, which is defined under Wikipedia as being shown by coverage in arm's-length, reliable sources. These are usually things such as newspaper articles and magazine articles, and excludes the sort of "reprinted press releases" common to some local business rags--those sources must be independent and reliable.
3. My best advice is to start over, and then work at finding those sources. Find out what they talk about, and how. And then write your article based almost entirely on those sources. You can use primary sources to fill in entirely neutral and uncontroversial facts (where's the HQ?), but the use of primary sources should be a minimum.

Hello Joe. I am new-ish to the creator side of Wikipedia. Im and longtime user (and financial supporter) and I've done some editing in the past. Yesterday I created a page "Mary Fairburn", which I thought would past muster, but it's been deleted due to using copyrighted material. I cited my sources, and thought my quotes were well within the "fair dealing" limits. Fortunately most of the article is still in my Sandbox. The output from this [1] will provide you a helpful reference. As a single example, the text " a taker in of the homeless and an agitator on the behalf of local conservation causes she has", the second match, appears in Wikipedia's voice in your sandbox, If the output from that inelegant script gives any sense of the degree to which the Times got quoted here, it might be that that needs to be cut back, but that is a somewhat smaller and more subjective hurdle.

I would guess, and I mean no insult by this, that you started with a cut-and-pasted version of the article and attempted to edit it down, based on the quantity and type of identical phrases. In my experience, this never works, and often even when it appears okay to our scripts, results in copyright issues due to WP:Close paraphrasing, which are inevitably discovered years later and require quite a bit of redacting of historical revisions of an article. It is far simpler on everyone involved when editors here write in their own words. Please do so. Thank you for understanding. --j⚛e decker^talk 20:42, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

I am somewhat puzzled why you deleted the list of international Pangrams for all languages that we used to reference constantly in our language testing and research, but obviously you know more about this topic and since you deemed it frivolous and useless, then it must be so.

Request to re-write an article that was previously deleted

Hi!

I would like to create the page "Comintelli" that was deleted on May 7th, 2014. I believe I will be able to write an article that meets all the guidelines compared to the old one that seemed not to have done that. How do I go about doing this? The article in question was deleted as a result of a community discussion, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Comintelli, and the primary bar to writing a new article will be showing that you have new sources which meet our WP:CORP inclusion criteria, in particular, WP:CORPDEPTH. What we mean by these requirements seems to be confusing for many new editors, you may want to enlist some assistance at the WP:Teahouse, in fact, I recommend it, they're a good group of folks. In short, though, we're looking to see that there have been substantial (think, long-form) pieces on the company in reliable newspapers, magazines, books, written completely independently from the company (no press releases, interviews, or even many of the warmed over press releases that grace many of the business weeklies) and which cover more than routine announcements (executive appointments, M&A, facility moves, earnings announcements, product announcements, etc.)

Participating editors, who are familiar with our usual interpretations of these policies, said they couldn't find such sources, but if there's been new coverage, we can certainly talk. Sources do not need to be in English, but it certainly makes our lives easier when they are.

Because this often comes up with regard to corporate articles, if you are related to the company involved (and you may not be), note that can be difficult to write a proper, neutral, encyclopedia article on something you have an interest in--and in fact, our policies suggest, in that case, that you do not try. Please read and understand WP:PSCOI. However, if you do wish to continue writing such an article, in my experience, the key thing is to find a handful of sources of the type I described above, and then use what they talk about, and in what degree, as an indication of what deserves more or less coverage in an article. I see you've added to it, but I'd have to decline it again immediately if you submitted it, the next step is making sure you've provided references to reliable sources that back the information you've provided. That's a requirement.

I'd really recommend reading WP:Your first article, which should give you a lot of background on the process here, and may help you avoid a few extra slow cycles through our process. In particular, until there has been a certain level of non-speculative coverage of the 2019 event our guidelines would tell me we can't have an article on the subject, and you'll have to show that that coverage exists with sources. The article on the 2018 super bowl is probably a good indication of what we'd need as a minimum, if that helps.

(talk page stalker) Unfortunately I had to revert those changes. Photos do not make good references since they rely on someone's interpretation of what is depicted. Those of the sources I checked largely did not cover Elliott in any detail, with some not mentioning him at all and others being blatantly misrepresented. For example, one of the references mentioned that a historian had called Elliott "[Nkrumah’s] worst ambassadorial appointment in this period" and said he "advanced Soviet, rather than Ghanaian, interests in most of his dealings as ambassador" - our readers wouldn't have learned that from the flattering text you wrote. Instead it went pretty far off-topic by discussing, for example, Chinese customs of hospitality. This is not helpful for readers who are looking for information on Elliott. This is not at all a prank. The {{help me}} template summons helpers from all over Wikipedia and brought me here. I took a look at the expansion, checked many of the references, and found both the content and the sources highly problematic. Some of the references might probably be salvaged, such as the one about how Elliott advanced Soviet interests more than Ghanaian ones, but the content would have to be rewritten almost in its entirety to appropriately summarize what the reliable sources report about Elliott. The link you've provided contains a sentence or two of information about the subject. This would fall short of what WP:BASIC requires. You may also take a look at User:Joe Decker/IsThisNotable. The article was deleted as a result of the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/HeatsProductions. Participants said, in somewhat oblique language, that the article both did not meet our neutral point of view policy, but moreover, that there were not (either within the article or otherwise available) reliable, third-party independent sources which provided in-depth coverage of the topic. This bar is set particularly high for organizations and corporations, see in particular WP:CORPDEPTH.

You are welcome to appeal this decision to deletion review, but I believe my conclusion, that participants in the discussion felt the article not meet our "notability" guidelines in particular, will be upheld unless you provide them with sources that demonstrate that the topic does in fact meet that guideline. If you are new here at Wikipedia, you may wish to run a few by some editors at the WP:Teahouse first, as ... many new editors find the ins and outs of our notability guidelines challenging. Dear Joe Decker, I hope all goes well with your emergency and you will be able to return to your talk page soon. Someone called 'Huon' has messed up and removed my stub expansion to Ambassador Elliott's page. I do not understand why he did what he did, because what he is talking about has nothing to do with what I am writing. Everything I put on the page has been approved by Ambassador Elliott. I am so upset I don't even know what to say. Please advise. I spent a lot of time piecing Ambassador Elliott's oratory together. Some of the material is from his own collection. If 'Huon' had taken time to read what was written, he would have noted that 'Ambassador Elliott is resolute and holds no grudges towards any persons or institutions that are inequitable towards him or his achievements'. Dear Joe Decker, I have reverted all the mess and deletions made by other persons to Ambassador Elliott's page. How do I stop these other people from interfering. I would like to take time and have the page properly edited and completed without them meddling. Is there anyway to prevent them? I have also replaced the photographs deleted by them for no reason.

My previous request to you was to help expand and edit the stub. On expanding the stub for Ambassador John Banks Elliott, I have placed a great deal of the conversation I had with him about his Ambassadorial-ship in Moscow. I hope what I have placed is sufficient assemblage of him. As I said I need help with editing and I am not sure which links to other pages or what should be linked.

The article is written with honesty and recounted by Ambassador Elliott himself. It is a complete assemblage as I could master of his Ambassadorial-ship in Moscow, I don’t think I will be adding anything else and would like the stub status removed from the article when the editing is complete. It will be nice to be able to get it over with before Christmas. I left a message on your talk page requesting help with editing the addition to the article. What I did not realize was that others have access to your talk page and could comment from your talk page directly to me. I have removed and adjusted what I think was causing the controversy, that is the second section, although it was approved for release in 2002 and anyone wishing to see this document could have access to it just by clicking the link and asking for it. As you would have noticed, ‘Huon’, who deleted the addition to the article and made uncalled for remarks about Ambassador Elliott has deleted my article again, that is after I restored it and asked him kindly to allow me time to edit it in my time with an editor of my choice. The Ambassador is an old man with a story to tell and is not familiar with today’s modern jargons, frankly neither am I. I have received another message in my talk page from Huon dated 7 December asking me not to restore the contents without addressing issues. He has also left his thoughts on Ambassador Elliott’s page blatantly sighting others as more verifiable than Ambassador Elliott himself who WAS the Ambassador in Moscow. He has also accused Ambassador Elliott of whitewashing his story. I find this appalling and will advise Huon to check the background of those persons whose information and literature he seems to think are more credible than that of Ambassador Elliott himself. Has Huon spoken to any of these people he is talking about? Or has been simply reading articles for which they were paid for. I refuse to have any dealings with Huon, and will not be making contact with him. I am sure Ambassador Elliott still has the clout as to where his complaint should be directed. I also keep on getting messages about Ambassador Elliott’s photographs, which I uploaded. I spoke to Ambassador Elliott and he told me that he has no idea who took the old photographs of him in the sixties, all he remembers is that all the photographs he has from that period were sent to his offices with complements from the Ministries in Moscow. He has a whole box full. What I did is scan what I needed or make copies with my blackberry. The other photos of him in Maidenhead I took myself with my blackberry and have been shoveling them from computer to computer. There are no copyright restrictions attached to any of these photos and they can be displayed at will.

First, I've been away, and will continue to be away from Wikipedia as I deal with some personal matters. My apologies for the delay and what will be a short and likely incomplete reply.

I am sorry that you are exasperated, I know that you are acting in good faith. Without having had the opportunity to look at the full back and forth, I will say one thing--Wikipedia's policies don't allow material to be based in general on the subject's recollections. This may be at the core of the dispute here. Our articles are supposed to be based on verifiable reliable sources, it is not a question of whether it is sufficient that the information is accurate, nor is it intended as disrespect, it is a matter that materials need to be based more or less on reputable publications. Even original ("primary") source material, such as contemporaneous documents, can be problematic under our policies. This can be frustrating, as well as confusing, even mystifying to new editors here.

I'm sorry that that is the case.

I'm not quite sure what the issues here have to do with the text being in the public domain or not. I wasn't aware that any concerns related to copyright had been raised at all.

The requirement that articles be based on third-party sources that have undergone an editorial process with a reputation for fact-checking is not about copyright, and it is not entirely (although it is in part) a question of accuracy), it is also part of the process by which we ensure that our articles have a neutral point of view and provide appropriate weight--that is, we put more emphasis on the stuff that has had more coverage in third-party sources, less on those that have had less coverage.

Not sure whether this is still relevant, but the copyright issue deals with the images Dorothyelliott uploaded, particularly those taken in Moscow by Soviet photographers at official events. Edited to add: I would guess that the Moscow/Brezhnev image(s) was/were products of the government of the Soviet Union or TASS, but that's just a guess, and I have no idea what rules would apply there, given that the "copyright holding" entity would no longer exist. You'd need to ask someone much smarter than I about image copyright to sort that one out. If you want to push that towards deletion at WikiCommons I'd entirely understand.

Now, I'm going to take a guess, but I'd like DorothyElliot to confirm this, that she is or knows the photographer for the 2011 image, she states she knows the subject (and shares his last name), so it's possible that for that image, at least, that I simply need to direct her to WP:Donating copyrighted materials. The images already were deleted at the Commons, whereupon Dorothyelliott uploaded them to Wikipedia. I'll delete the Moscow images since no evidence of permission has been forthcoming for more than a week and Dorothyelliott pretty openly stated that she does not in fact know those images' copyright status. Personally I expect Russia to own the copyright, but that's just a guess. The third one I understand was taken by Dorothyelliott herself (she said something to that effect here, for example), and I have given her detailed advice on how to release that image under a free license. I object to the removal of the above page, it would appear you have deleted LOUIS ROBINSONS wikiapedia page, im unsure why that is, under your guidance notes for rugby league, he has played in the last 3 seasons 7 times for Canada in full internationals against USA and Jamacia in both USA and Canada, countries all who fall within the RLEF and RLIF, he would have played around 4 more games but his English club side were unwilling to release him mid season as it clashes with the domestic league season and they pay his wages. He plays in the championship as a semi professional; he has played in the challenge cup for the last three seasons which one of your rugby league guidlines, another one of your guidelines. He is paid and contracted on a two season contract to the London skolars who play in the div one of the kingstone press championship. Under the 12 super league teams, there are only 3/4 team full time professional teams in the two next divisions, it is a march till october sport. I've emailed you the article, no problem. I understand folks don't understand copyright restrictions. However, we take then VERY seriously.

Here's some advice to avoid future deletions.

1. Write in your own words. Really. Don't even do more than glance at the draft that I sent you, if you attempt to "edit out" the copied portions in my experience there will be something missed. You will find it much easier to simply write it from scratch, copying absolutely nothing.
2. Write in neutral words. You may be, and/or may be associated with the artist. If that's the case, please read WP:PSCOI. But whether or not it's true, the language used in the article was not the language of an encyclopedia, it was the language of an advertisement. I don't know if you are familiar with traditional encyclopedias, but imagine, if you will, the dry and neutral tone that the Encyclopedia Britannica would use if they were to cover this subject. Emulate that.
3. Work based on arm's length, third party sources. One of the basic bars an article like this is going to have to meet is notability, which is defined under Wikipedia as being shown by coverage in arm's-length, reliable sources. These are usually things such as newspaper articles and magazine articles, and excludes the sort of "reprinted press releases", sources must be completely independent and reliable. My best advice is to start over, and then work at finding those sources. Find out what they talk about, and how. And then write your article based almost entirely on those sources. You can use primary sources to fill in entirely neutral and uncontroversial facts (where's the HQ?), but the use of primary sources should be a minimum. This process is likely to be frustrating for you if you take any other path, and while this process may sound like it will be more work, in the long run, it will be less work for you. This artist deserves recognition- no one is doing collages and art work, on tailoring patterns, that have been exhibited and sold throughout the world.

Sam Swope (Businessman) :Deletion

I did not write nor did I have the opportunity to see the original Page for Sam Swope, but I did know the man. He was quite honorable and certainty deserves a place here on Wikipedia. One person claimed Sam was nothing but a Car Salesman. Sure if that is what you call the founder of the Largest Auto Group in Kentucky with 1,100 Employees.

LaMona's remarks of noting the time of he demise and her snarky remark of "You kinda had to be there eh?" was cruel and unkind to anyone who knew him. Yes they did know the exact time. His family was by his side and they released a statement to the press which can be found at on the Courier-Journal's website.

LaMona is trash in my book.

I'll admit, there might not be a bunch of "Source material on Sam Swope compared to some that are adorned in data on Wikipedia but the contributions he made on society with his philanthropy certainly do.

He was a Very Active Shriner Belonging to both Korsair Shrine in Louisville, Ky and Bahia Shrine in Orlando, FL. He was also on the Board of Kosair Charities. Where he founded the Sam Swope Charity Ride which Benefits the Shriners Hospitals. Millions of Dollars have been raised by him and with his great contributions. He made a $100,000 donation at the ride on March 9th in Orlando, FL. Incidentally, he did the exact same thing for the ride in Louisville, KY.

In August of this year, Sam made a Million dollar contribution to the Kentucky Humane Society for a new animal treatment and rehab center.

Hi! I've added the logo, no worries.

The primary thing I'd say about AfC is that it can take some time to really get a handle on our notability requirements overall. You've been here a few years, and have a bit more than the minimum number of edits, but I'd say it's helpful if to have a really good working knowledge of WP:GNG, WP:BASIC, WP:CORP, and WP:PROF. The first three rhyme pretty well, but academics are usually judged by different metrics and getting a handle on what would be, and wouldn't be, likely to survive a nomination at Articles for Deletion can be a trick. A few things are always notable, pretty much, if they're verified by even a single reliable source (populated towns and biological species are the two examples that come to mind.

Spending some time watching deletion discussions at AfD can help get a sense of what the community does consider "enough" in a lot of borderline cases.

The nice thing about AfC, however, is that you can simply pass on anything you're not sure about, and there's a lot of stuff that's very easy to make a call on.

For example, a good number of incoming articles are copied from some other text, usually creating a copyright issue. Finding those is pretty easy, often any sort of text that looks professionally written is a good candidate for a check. Try digging up a few ten-word or so patches from the middle of the article and googling them.

Similarly, a lot of incoming drafts are unsourced or poorly sourced, and some of those are very easy to spot and quick-reject.

The easiest articles to review are the very good ones (sadly few) and those written by folks who haven't gotten a handle on our notability guidelines. It's important (but difficult, I fail at this) to be patient--we really haven't provided enough guidance to new users to expect that they'll "get it right."

I guess I"m kinda babbling, but those are some ideas to start. It'd also be worth asking for advice and guidance at WT:AFC. Hope this helps! --j⚛e decker^talk 00:59, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

Ambassador John Banks Elliott

Dear Joe Decker, I have left the same message on my talk page in response to the copyright issue. I have sent an email to Wikipedia: permissions-commons_ wikimedia.org (for the images) I really hope this will be accepted.

With reference to the photographs taken in Moscow, I do not know if this letter will be of any help in restoring Ambassador Elliot’s photographs. I already had copies of these same photographs given to me by Ambassador Elliott, which I had placed on his Wikipedia page and Wikimedia file which others have deleted.

Please see the attached letter, which I received by post from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Russia (MIDR) dated 30 October 2014.

I can't seem to find or know how I can attach the letter without making it open. I used embedded file but I know its wrong, it did not come through for me to attach. Hi Dorothy: I don't know if you've heard back from "permissions" yet, but please let me know when you do. I'm hopeful they'll approve the 2011 portrait, the other case is still quite unclear to me, the letter is fine, but doesn't necessary speak to the issue of copyright, in particular, that images on Wikipedia be free for reuse by anyone for any purpose. When I've returned from the holidays I have one more person I can try and ask who might be knowledgable about the specific situation of photographs whose original copyright was TASS or the Soviet Union in general, which I'm guessing is the case for the other images. They are certainly historic photos, and I have some other idea about how they might be accepted, but I'm not the expert at this, and the folks at the permissions queue have a lot more experience with image copyright. The real question for having an article on the subject, or not having one, is whether there are multiple, reliable, independent sources which provide in-depth coverage of the topic. This is described in more detail at WP:GNG and WP:BASIC. You may also take a look at User:Joe Decker/IsThisNotable. I'm still working on refining it, but my hope is to provide a more step-by-step (if still not simple) approach to explaining what we need in terms of demonstrating that the subject meets our requirements. Nomination of John Banks Elliott for deletion by 'Houn'

Dear Joe Decker, I left the message below on Ambassador Elliott's talk page and on mine talk page as well. What Houn is doing is beyond reason. Its just too stressing, Why? This article is of historical importance pray Houn to tell us why, when everyone is busy with a seasonal celebration of good will to mankind, he is spending his time scouting Wikipedia deleting people’s articles and files and putting forward for deletion the article on Ambassador John Banks Elliott, which for the record is of historical importance. What Houn is doing I consider shameful. Is this some sort of a personal vendetta against the subject, the topic or just the writer of the article? He has continually disrupted the progress of Ambassador Elliott’s page. The author, just like many others, is qualified to place articles on any subject that is relevant and of interest to the general public visiting Wikipedia. There are no reasons for Houn’s haphazard behaviour, it has gone beyond decency. If Houn has a personal problem, then he should let us know, perhaps we can help sort it, so that the article can go forward without disruption. This article is of historical importance and it will be unfair to have it deleted. I'll chime in there after I've had a chance to read what's there, but I will say one thing--I spend a lot of time at AfD, and the argument that will succeed there is showing that there are newspaper, magazine, book accounts of the ambassador that provide in-depth, independent coverage of him. WP:BASIC is the "rule" that that discussion will win or lose based on. Given the power of the Soviet Union at the time and the historic time this was for Ghana, I find it difficult to believe that such sources don't exist, I expect that they are simply difficult to find given the number of years that have passed, and the lack of online Ghanan newspaper archives.

After placing the references to expand the stub for Ambassador Elliott, it was deleted by Houn. All that I, in my capacity as a layperson could find, I placed for the expansion in-between the full article. Also all photographs of Ambassador Elliott have been deleted. What there is on his page at present, is a fraction of what it should have been, had I not had constant disruptions from Houn. These are some of the files I placed. J. That's fine, if you check the ANI, I was attempting to reply there but got in too late, at the end, basically I said I supported any GF admin action adding FP to that article if they felt it was warranted. I had always assumed it would be, and that a single confirmed Edison addition would soon come along to seal the deal. Ambassador Elliott

Dear Joe Decker, Happy New year to you! Thank you for your support in keeping the page for Ambassador Elliott, the discussion ended I believe on no consensus. As Ghana’s first Ambassador to the Soviet Union, he was a witness to the last cycle of transition of colonial rule to independence. It is worthwhile of a mention. I noticed that ‘stub’ has been removed from the article and would like to know if it will still be possible to add his photos and the files of accreditation to his references, I have still not heard from “permissions-commons_ Wikimedia”. I will resend my email and hope they respond. Do you think there are any references in the previous mails or edits that could still be added? HI Dorothy-- Glad to help. I really think that at this point you're going to need someone at OTRS/permissions to do the paperwork before images you created can be added, but once that is done, the images you took should be AOK. The others, those taken by TASS etc., I'm not sure about, but they can probably help more knowledgable than I can on them. While you're waiting, a few things....

The link at the top to Dang District? Try clicking through it, you'll find that it goes to a dismabiguation page, like this: Dang District

If you want that to point to the right article, there's a way to do it, it goes like this: Dang District. Looks the same, but the second link goes to the right place! You'll have to edit this section to see how I did it, but you'll see that using a veritcal bar in the link, like |, I can specify the title of the article I want to link to, and the text displayed in the link, and have those be different.

I'm think it is likely that we should have an article on the Sanctuary--that is, that there are enough sources out there that meet our policies to meet our basic inclusion criteria. That critieria largely works on the basis of sources. You can read the whole thing at WP:GNG.

What will help your articles get reviewed if you can learn what our articles need in terms of references. Generally, information in the article has to come from what our policies call reliable sources. This is not just a matter of the sources being correct, it's about them having been through an editorial process with a reputation for fact-checking, much as a good magazine, book or scholarly journal article would have. Most web sites, particularly commercial ones, are going to be seen as not meeting this criteria. So the source that I just added regarding the number of plant and animal species? That's going to be a source that reviewers accept better than a tourism-related web site. So where possible, work for references that have that quality.

Another thing--in one place you talk about the ideal time to visit. That's probably a pretty true statement in a general sense, but it's also subjective, and gives something that's more an opinion than a fact. in general, those don't belong in Wikipedia articles. Instead, we might talk about when a popular time to visit is--so long as that information comes from a reliable source, of course!

Anyway ,this isn't a review, and I may or may not end up being the reviewer that ends up reviewing your article, but the sort of points I make above--if you address a few of them, I think you'll find that the article will be reviewed more quickly and be more likely to be accepted. These are very valuable inputs, I surely need to improve my wiki syntax understanding and application. Regarding WP having article on this topic, I created it based on missing article link at List of national parks and wildlife sanctuaries of Gujarat, India. What I did was took "Kutch Bustard Sanctuary" article as a template and created this article. Where also there is mention about ideal time to visit. Might not be quite ready yet. I deleted it because the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Joseph_Duffy_(fighter) seemed clear that at the time he didn't meet WP:NMMA.
