User talk:Jnestorius/2017
Hello. You redirected the page "Irish revolution" in 2012 from List of Irish uprisings to Irish revolutionary period, and it's been like that for five years. May you please explain why? I won't ask for bold revert or anything like that. I am just curious. --George Ho (talk) 05:09, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:PRIMARYTOPIC. I ought to have included my reasoning in the edit summary; belated apologies that I didn't. See Google Books "Irish revolution". The 2010 discussion predates my 2012 creation of the Irish revolutionary period article. jnestorius(talk) 19:56, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hmm... got it. Thanks. BTW, I trimmed down search results with exact matches. I guess you're right. George Ho (talk) 01:26, 24 May 2017 (UTC)

Fan POV Tag from 10 April 2017
[edit]Hello Inestorius, I am working since days to bring the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catherine_(1986_TV_series) up to a good and neutral standard. It is not me who created that page. As you can see from the earlier History, the page has now true informations and new sections. I will delete all the text concerning the 60 episodes, which have more or less been copied from a Website! I have studied many pages in the last week and no one supplies such spoilers on a page concerning a television series. My question to you, would you be so kind and please remove the tag on top of the page? Once the long section with the spoilers is gone, I believe the problem is solved. I will try to my best of abilities add some photos which are in my personal possession and which would enrich the articles there. Looking forward to your hopefully positive answer. August 2017
[edit]Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Steve Jackson Games, Inc. v. United States Secret Service, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. It's especially problematic that you would add this kind of detailed information to an article that has already been tagged long-term for needing references. DonIago (talk) 13:03, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Steve Jackson Games, Inc. v. United States Secret Service, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please see WP:BURDEN. If you wish to reinstate this material, please add appropriate citations. DonIago (talk) 15:37, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
You have helped me a lot, thanks :-)
PS. See the end of the talk.
PS2. I can help you with Polish - my mother tongue :-)

2,4,6 row barley
[edit]Wouldn't just deleting these 2,4,6 row barley redirects be best? Nothing links/should link to them, typically 1 hits per month (I haven't checked them all) suggest they're a waste of effort. Batternut (talk) 21:18, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
- I don't agree that nothing should link to two-row barley or six-row barley, and indeed there are already a few links, and might be more. If you want to delete some of the others, them raise them at WP:RFD. Superfluous redirects are not something I worry about. jnestorius(talk) 13:31, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
- Oh I agree that two-row barley and six-row barley could be useful, its the Two-row, Six-row, Six row, Four-row, Four row, 4row, 6row, 2row links that seem silly. I might RfD them one day. Thanks for your opinion! Batternut (talk) 14:59, 14 November 2017 (UTC)
