Dear Jmgurey,

Sometime ago you declared yourself to be the author of Talk:Geometric_series#Animal_wall_painting. Like yourself I studied (and taught) mathematics, and i was always lokking for good illustrations of abstract concepts. You came up with these paintings, thank you! To keep them on Commons could you send an email to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org to state that you allow CC-BY-SA-4.0? For some reason, I did not notice this request/suggestion. I did send the email for the first file (Animal_wall_painting). Yes, I would love to do the same also for some other paintings from Hargeysa Cultural Centre. All paints in the gallery are not of the Centre, so we can do case by case. Otherwise, we need to ask permission of single artists. All the above-mentioned paintings are of the HCC. --Jama Musse Jama 00:05, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
