[edit]Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Stephen Romer, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 18:21, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- Nah, it's the opposite : give a valid reason for the template to be there in the first place ;) Jezzathustra (talk) 18:35, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah of course I guess in the future a Flickr or gallery link with the licence or something will be provided as per the "normal" process. So admittedly, yes, I'm taking the piss... But then I must say you do seem like a piece of work, so it's hard to resist Jezzathustra (talk) 18:43, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- I'm expecting a banning threat or something... "Administration" takes itself so seriously I'd be disappointed if an automatically structured reply about ad hominem or something comes up Jezzathustra (talk) 18:45, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Stephen Romer.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Stephen Romer.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
- state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —C.Fred (talk) 18:50, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- Wow, little administrator here with his Wikipedia career of lawyering around (and copying sports results !) has just lost his nerve. I'm so sorry, dude, I didn't mean to upset you. Don't cry, and sleep well Jezzathustra (talk) 19:42, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- It's funny, that section F3 etc. It's like Section 49.3 of the French constitution, to pass a law without Parliament when a the president loses his shit lol Jezzathustra (talk) 19:47, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
