DYK for Global precedence
[edit]On 3 November 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Global precedence, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that global precedence is the tendency to see the forest, and not the trees? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Global precedence. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Message from tbenshachar
[edit]Hi Jessie. Thanks for the help! I am also editing a Wikipedia page for an undergraduate class. If you could give me any advice from your experience or have any comments/criticisms on the work I have already done I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much!

Hi Jessie!
Thank you so much for your email. My main problem is not with Wikipedia itself, though. The original worker on the page that I am working on reverted my previous work, so I am trying to upload after I refine my points. Nevertheless, it is really nice to know that I have a great resource like you! May I send you an email if I have any question?
Thanks a lot!
Sincerely yours,
Julie

Thanks Jessie. Sorry for the late reply.
So sorry I didn't make it on time to finish the wiki assignment. But I did edit some article. I don't know why it's shown as "0 edits" after that. Maybe it takes time to take effect. You can find the edit history on it's talk or history page with my username on that. I will continue the editing on some other articles. I don't know how much of editing work is required on each of them? Is one paragraph enough here?

Orphaned non-free media (File:The Adroit Journal, Issue Four, Spring 2012.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:The Adroit Journal, Issue Four, Spring 2012.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:19, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
