Speedy deletion nomination of Classical Movements
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Classical Movements requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Livit⇑Eh?/What? 14:57, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello JessicaZaluzecCM. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Classical Movements, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Filing Flunky (talk) 16:17, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Classical Movements
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Classical Movements, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
Significant conflict of interest and promotion
[edit]I have reverted your latest edit to Classical Movements. The article is on the brink of being deleted as highly promotional. The material you added made the article much worse from that perspective. You are clearly invovled with the company, so should not be editing the article at all. See WP:COI. Adding unsourced marketing hyperbole to the article greatly increases the chance of it being deleted. I am trying to help rescue the article, but you are significantly hurting the chances of it avoiding deletion. Please stop editing that article now. Thanks, Sparthorse (talk) 16:41, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
- Again, please stop editing Classical Movements. You have a conflict of interest and clearly cannot write an article about this subject that complies with WP:NPOV. Sparthorse (talk) 16:44, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Classical Movements. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Sparthorse (talk) 17:01, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Classical Movements. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Sparthorse (talk) 17:21, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Classical Movements, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sparthorse (talk) 17:26, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:28, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Response to Email from Jessica Zaluzec
[edit]Dear Ms. Zaluzec,
In the future, it would be more efficient if you conducted discussions on this matter on this talk page, rather than sending emails to various Wikipedia editors. Responses to your questions and comments are below:
1. "I ask that you replace the Classical Movements logo with the 20th Anniversary logo..." The 20th Anniversary logo was overly promotional, and it was too large to qualify as an acceptable logo within Wikipedia's rules on the subject.
2. "Also Neeta Helms and Jacques are not members. Neeta is the current president of Classical Movements, and Jacques was the former president." They are currently listed as Co-Founders in the infobox, which is how they were described in the body of the article.
3. "Also please remove the block, so I might edit the biography and client list as Classical MOvements has many more clients than Yale." If you wish to be unblocked, you should contact the admin who blocked you, and/or follow Wikipedia's rules on the subject. I am not an admin, so I have no power in this matter.
Finally, let me note that the links you listed in your email, http://www.classicalmovements.com/index_noflash.htm and http://www.classicalmovements.com/staf.htm are not sufficient to be considered reliable sources in Wikipedia. In order for a source to be considered reliable, it must generally come from an objective party reporting on the subject matter.
Please feel free to leave a note here or on my talk page if I can be of any assistance to you. Sincerely, Ebikeguy (talk) 21:59, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Your Username
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (JessicaZaluzecCM) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because the "CM" in your username seems to show a direct, professional connection to Classical Movements, a company on whose behalf you seem to be editing.. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account to use for editing. Thank you. Ebikeguy (talk) 22:20, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
- In fact the block was for spamming, but the user name is also a problem. If the user is unblocked to allow them to request a change of name, they must agree to edit appropriately particularly with reference to WP:COI and WP:SPAM. – ukexpat (talk) 00:33, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
- A precedent has been established that if you have a name like JoeFromOilgear, and you do not edit Oilgear inappropriately in any way, the name will be allowed to pass. The problem with Jessica is not the username, but the shameless spamming (and now, it is feared, sockpuppetry and block evasion; see below). --Orange Mike | Talk 13:47, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
A Note About Sockpuppetry
[edit]Hello,
I notice that an anonymous editor from the Baltimore/DC (where you live, I think) area is making edits at Classical Movements, some of which are edits that you have previously suggested in email to me. If you are this anonymous editor, I urge you to stop editing. Your block applies to you, the person, not to any one given Wikipedia account. If you attempt to evade this block by editing anonymously or as another named editor, you will be in violation of Wipedia's rules regarding sockpuppetry. You and all other accounts and IP addresses you have used would be blocked, probably for ever, if you are found to have edited in this manner. Sincerely, Ebikeguy (talk) 00:49, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
Sockpuppetry case
[edit]Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/JessicaZaluzecCM for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Sparthorse (talk) 20:40, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Blocked
[edit]I have blocked your account indefinitely as you are using this account to evade a block on User:AbigailFason. Block evasion is not permitted for obvious reasons; neither is deceiving the community. Further, using Wikipedia for promotional purposes is not allowed.
You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}
below . Please note that further attempts to evade your block(s) will greatly impede any effort to be legitimately unblocked; while blocked, you are only permitted to edit your user talk page for the purposes of requesting unblocking. Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:51, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
