Catalog section

Hello,

Thanks for you help on the roblox article. I removed the section about the catalog for a number of reasons. If you look at the article; we have a section called customization where it already talks about hats, heads, faces ect. Also, there was a fair mention of LEGO. As roblox is it's own game and not affiliated with lego in any way, we can't really say anything about lego type heads. I did use a portion of your work in the article.

Once again, thanks for your help and I would to encourage you to keep editing! If you need any help, feel free to message me on roblox.--gordonrox24 (talk) 18:33, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Problems with upload of File:DefaultPro.png

Thanks for uploading File:DefaultPro.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:06, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:DefaultPro.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image with an unknown source or an unknown copyright status which has been tagged as such for more than 7 days, and it still lacks the necessary information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. gordonrox24 (talk) 20:37, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for uploading that but it has no license. If you could send the picture file to my e-mail at grox24@hotmail.com I can get it up no problem. Thanks!--gordonrox24 (talk) 20:38, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Source

I googled it and I still do not know where you are getting the numbers from. It will have to stay off until you get get the sources in.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 18:51, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:05, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

I have removed the stub tag from your sandbox article to prevent it from showing up in Category:Stubs, this is because at the moment it is in your userspace and not WP mainspace. You may like to use a specific template from the list here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types. Thanks Patchy1Talk To Me! 07:02, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

File:Gotbattling.png listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, File:Gotbattling.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:GodsOfTime.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NW (Talk) 19:09, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Hey, another editor fixed it up for you. The other image you uploaded I doubt will be allowed to stay. If you would like, you can e-mail me the images you want uploaded before you upload them at grox24@hotmail.com and I will be able to get them up and keep them up if they are allowed.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 19:49, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

 Done All fixed.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 20:22, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

I can share my opinion but I doubt it will do any good.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 20:37, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Richard Michael Alvarez requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. RadioFan (talk) 14:57, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Removing Speedy at Richard Michael Alvarez

Hi there Jeremjay24! I saw that you added a {{hangon}} tag to a page which you created, Richard Michael Alvarez. This is good, but in the process you removed the tag requesting deletion under CSD A7. Even though there is a hangon on the page, the deletion template should remain there. But don't worry, this doesn't mean that the page is going to get deleted. Make sure you edit the talk page of the page nominated for deletion, located at Talk:Richard Michael Alvarez, administrators will look at your reason why the page should remain before they decide what to do. Thanks - SDPatrolBot (talk) 15:02, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

July 2009

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you recently added a {{hangon}} template to an article. In order for an administrator to evaluate whether the article should be speedy deleted or not, we request that you provide reasoning, on the article's talk page, for why it should remain. Thank you. Kotiwalo (talk) 15:54, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Friendly with Twinkle

{{helpme}} The Friendly article tells you not to have more than 1 ImportScripts in my monobook.js, but I want both at the same time. Please help... Thanks! Jeremjay24 (talk) 14:02, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

It says no such thing. It says you shouldn't import the same script more than once. Importing several different scripts shouldn't cause problems. Algebraist 14:16, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Jeremjay24,

Thanks for the message! Do you mean whenever I make an edit to sign on the edit page with the four tildes?

Thanks Strawberry1818 (talk) 15:18, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

You got it. The code ~~~~ is always at the end of your messages in talk pages. Jeremjay24 (talk) 15:25, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi Jeremjay24,

Actually I'm an old member named Calvin Limuel (User:Calvin_Limuel), registered 3 years ago, have been in Wikipediaholic for two years. But no one has ever given me any message. So thanks for the message anyway :) --r3ck0rd a.k.a. Calvin Limuel 16:52, 7 August 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by R3ck0rd (talkcontribs)

Automatic Logout/Login Status

{{helpme}}

It's mad annoying setting the status page to offline and online when I go off and on. Is there a way to automate it? Jeremjay24 msg 13:55, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Nope, not currently. One of the status bots was so resource intensive it was blocked by Brion. --Closedmouth (talk) 14:09, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Re:

Hey,

Listing all the items in the game is for a personal wiki. We don't do that here on WP. It would be nice though.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 12:09, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh, but I thought many games do that. Example: List_of_Gradius_media Cultural_impact_of_the_Guitar_Hero_series Universe_of_Kingdom_Hearts As you see there <, they aren't in the article (Gradius, Guitar Hero, Kingdom Hearts) but in their own article themselves. Know what I'm saying? Jeremjay24 msg 13:13, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
I would say yes if we had could establish a little more notability. It was a struggle to get just the roblox article up and I am pretty sure if we started making more articles for a game that nobody really wanted on WP to begin with they would just start deleting them. We have enough notability established for one article, but games like Kingdom hearts that are known world wide far surpass roblox--Gordonrox24 | Talk 00:48, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Okay. Then we could wait and make Roblox really notable and make extra articles... Jeremjay24 msg 13:19, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
For that we need many more reliable third party publications.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 14:07, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Okay. We also need to expand the article? Jeremjay24 msg 14:19, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
Not necessarily, just more good references.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 14:35, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (File:RobloxIcon.png)

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:RobloxIcon.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. FileBot (talk) 20:59, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

MechScape

Hey there. I see you're writing an article on MechScape on your userpage. Would you mind if I contributed to it? Logical Gentleman (talk) 13:53, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Sure. I actually need the article to be bigger, so people will actually unlock the title. Jeremjay24 msg 13:59, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
Per request from Logical Gentleman, I've unprotected the page, but I do agree with you that it needs a little more work before moving it into main space. Amalthea 13:24, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
Sorry I got your message after I had done some work and moved it.... :-( --Gordonrox24 | Talk 18:58, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
It's ok. Jeremjay24 msg 19:00, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

"Vandalism"

Did you intend to do this? You reverted Seddon's clerk action, which is clearly not vandalism. Please explain. Note that your response will have to be quick in order for me to respond as my ban will take effect in just minutes/seconds. Mythdon (talkcontribs) 00:45, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

God, I'm so so sorry. Looking at that, I thought it was vandalism, but it wasn't. Please forgive me. :( Jeremjay24 00:46, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Apology accepted. Mythdon (talkcontribs) 00:48, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Thank you very much. I thought I was gone right there. Jeremjay24 00:49, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Please be more careful with your Twinkle usage in the future, both given the above and also edits like this. Daniel (talk) 01:29, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

and again

You reverted a user who removed warnings from their talk page at User talk:99.19.64.63. Users are most certainly allowed to remove notices and warnings from their talk pages if they wish, and it is incorrect to revert them or to label such edits as vandalism. The warnings will still be in the page history anyway, so there's no real way to "hide" them. --Beeblebrox (talk) 03:24, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

God. Wow, many people are correcting my mistakes. Jeremjay24 20:06, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
There is only one real problem with twinkle. It is to easy to go to fast. It gives you great tools that can be used to do great work, but it is very easy to get complacent and not look and think deeply about your actions before you are hitting the rollback button. Thanks for your anti-vandalism help thought.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 22:48, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Please update your status with WP:VG

Dear WikiProject Video games member,

You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.

The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.

All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:

Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
