Disambiguation link notification for October 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Vanderbilt University people, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Attorney (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Undiscussed removal of Vanderbilt alumni
[edit]Why did you remove Hiram Wesley Evans and William Yandell Elliott from Vanderbilt University? Your edit summary only said "Fixed inaccuracies in Notable faculty and alumni section, updated gallery" and makes no mention of removing these people.
Additionally, every single edit you've made has been to a Vanderbilt University-related article. Do you have a connection to that subject? ElKevbo (talk) 19:46, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
- I repeat my question: Do you have a connection with Vanderbilt University? If so, you probably should not be editing the article. If you are being paid or are employed to promote the university then you must disclose that fact and cease editing the article. ElKevbo (talk) 20:07, 30 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You seem to have, as ElKevbo suggested, a conflict of interest. Especially the whitewashing of Vanderbilt University is getting tiresome. And even if you're not, for instance, a paid editor, your edits are of the promotional kind, and coupled with your utter lack of communication this leads me to think of WP:NOTHERE. [edit] As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to List of Vanderbilt University people, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Jefferson 12121, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jefferson 12121|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. You appear to be a single-purpose editor focused only on Vanderbilt University. You were cautioned about this a year ago by User:Drmies. Please respond to this message. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:51, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
- You also appear to have been uploading photos of Vanderbilt alumni to the Commons. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:56, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
- Magnolia677, I'm sure you saw also that ElKevbo, who has a fine nose for this kind of thing, inquired about this before. Jefferson, I endorse Magnolia's request, and I think that if you do not respond we will just have to assume that you have an undisclosed COI, and will block you.
